Defensive Line DLine DL recruiting thread

I believe we get only Gavin Hill on this list. Everyone else will go elsewhere.

 

LeBlanc with a CB to Oklahoma and Walker with a CB to Ohio State.

Man, if we really strike out at Osceola ...

Searcy and James- likely Florida. Still no true DT although James grows into one.

 

LeBlanc will be a gator

 

I want James to be the SSDE that I had hoped Dexter would be if we had had some DT. Walker is what we really need at DT.

 

That’s a ton of whiffs

I don’t know where most will go but almost every, if not all, highly ranked recruits leaning UF early this summer have ended up going elsewhere or picking new leaders. With LeBlanc most likely headed to Oklahoma makes it more obvious.

I’m not blaming our staff. This NIL crap is a shitstorm and I’d rather our roster be accommodated instead of recruits.

 

Unfortunately.

 

I like the optimism but the trend seems that the highly ranked recruits from May and early June are going somewhere else.

 

And here our hopes were that the new staff could lock down the state. That was a terribly tall order from the start. This NIL thing has made it even more difficult. We have to win on the field.

 

Also Jackson had a great visit to UT.

 

The fact the staff wasn't willing to overpay on some kids should help down the road with the budget. It's kind of an altered version of moneyball. We have to be smart with the available resources.

 

Seems as if….they don’t commit early we usually finish 2nd.

 

So they’re all basically saying the same thing
