    Yep, top 50 player in the state. As I said in another thread we really gotta feel good about 2 other good DT’s.

    I would give anything for four big body DL, one that could play SDE and a couple of LBs that might get bigger.

    Florida head coach Dan Mullen has been involved in this recruitment, but it's defensive line coach David Turner who has the best bond with the 6-foot-4, 295-pounder.

    According to Lyons, the two speak at least once a day. "Coach Turner the relationship is going good, but it's always been good. We talk almost every day, so we stay keeping up with each other a lot. The players around the program have also been involved in urging the four-star defender to team up with them at UF.

    Sophomore defensive tackle Gervon Dexter has been spearheading this effort. "I like the players, they are good guys and I like being in communication with them. Gervon is someone I talk to a lot. He said that everything Coach Turner told him as a recruit. Like that he would see the field early and how he would get playing time. Those things came true and I like hearing things like that. We have a good bond. I know if I did go there, I would probably be playing next to him. He's like my big brother, so I look up to him."

    A pretty decent crop of DT in FL this year. Besides Jamari Lyons I would take Daniel Lyons (if academics OK) over Nick James and Jordan Phillips.

    Looks like the good guys. When watching his film, he looked a lot like Walter Nolan. He plays like a man among boys.

    Nolan? Playing games. He's got bama written all over him. No one should think we are in the driver's seat or we lost anything. You have to possess something to lose it. UF never possessed Nolan.

    Lyons plus another similar to him would be fine or do we need 3 DTs in this class?
