Diabate isn't a LB, Diabate its a edge rusher and this staff for whatever the reason its refuses to play Diabate to his strength.

 

Somebody has to play in the middle

Isn't it a glaring weakness in the eyes of many that our staff takes players good at one phase of the game and tests them at another position they may not be suited for? I've never seen so many four star LB types on roster but in the view of many our LB corp lacks ability. I don't know.

 

I don't have a problem if a player gets texted at another position, my problem comes when a player shows again and again that he doesn't fit for the position that he gets texted for and thats the case with Diabate as this staff has keep playing him at LB ( for close to 2 years) when he has showed that he isn't a LB.

 

He does lead the team in sack with 8, 1.5 more than Carter.So while he is no star and has plenty of weaknesses, none of his teammates have more sacks.

 

I recall him getting beyond the LOS and outrun by Georgia’s QB. SMH

 

Correct! ESPN has Cox with 7 and Carter with 6.5. That right?

 

Maybe someone confused tackles for loss with sacks or added both together. According to Game Log, Cox has 2 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss. That's 7.5 total. Maybe that's where the 8 sacks comes from.

 

ESPN changed a .5 sack to 5 sacks in one game. He has been hurt and ineffective this year. He was disruptive at least last year. This year almost not at all.

 

With the way thing are going at UF who may want to talk about recruiting, but having said that, On Monday PM DL Quency Wiggins announced that his finals are Alabama, LSU and UF.

 

Yeah I don’t see him getting sacks but when watching games even the announcers have said he has 5 sacks then I heard 6. Wonder if it’s espn broadcasts using their stats vs UF press guides

We have like 12 edge guys but only two edges, neither of which anyone can hold have to use those guys in the middle because of numbers. Trying to teach mlb skills.

I remember him getting the sack and I chuckled to myself that he finally hit home after 10 games of running past everyone, then the announcer said he had 6 and led the team and I immediately thought I was living in a different reality lol.
