It is hot in the stands but it has to be worse on the field with pads on.

Like i posted earlier Wiggins rated his UF visit a 8 which may means that he doesn't think very highly of the Gators.

Did he rate other school visits higher? Maybe he is just a tough grader.

I really want Isaiah Hastings in this class. We've shown him the best interest when he was under ranked by the recruiting services and before he got all of these top offers. That has to count for something, right? He has also been to UF more than anywhere else.

Both Hastings and Lyons are exactly the type of players UF needs for the future at DT. After a year in strength and conditioning and to learn the UF system, they will be fully SEC ready and awfully tough to handle. Thinking college playing weights in the 310-320 range. These are big guys who are going to be bigtime players.

Hastings has blown up with offers. Everybody wants him NOW. UF led the SEC charge and has had multiple visits. UF will be fortunate to receive Hastings commitment and signed LOI. That is impossible to ignore.

Each recruit stands on their own. The coaches do a far better job than the lagging recruiting services who get too many recruits wrong and then are slow to make changes or are too arrogant to admit mistakes and make changes. This is impossible to ignore too.

recruiting services have the “luxury” of because we hit on ranking a kid a certain spot and they live up to the ranking once they get to college, a lot of folks mistakenly, not here just in general, take their rankings as gospel. When they’re proven wrong when they miss on a kid (under or over ranking a kid), it’s easily swept under the rug by the recruiting services and by most fans. Coaches obviously don’t have that luxury of missing on a kid they eval and offer (and get a commit from) so to your point, it’s def more vital to stick with who the coaches are offering and not use rankings as a barometer as the end all be all. Recruiting discussion is used by me to make the offseason go by faster since recruiting is year around

Surprise, surprise, Mykel Williams has CBs to Georgia on 247 Sports. I guess we can forget getting his 1/2 brother TE from USC too. Alternatively, let's beat the poodles and turn on the heat for Williams and for his 1/2 brother if he enters the transfer portal. Both are worth spots on the UF roster.

You and I both know winning one game doesn’t change a thing. Win or lose, he’s UGA bound more than likely. Not even thinking we have a legit shot here

IDK but recruiting wise, there damn sure does need to be a conversation had about recruiting along the DL the last two (2021 and 2022) cycle now that Coach Coop is gone over to UGA

Valentino hasn’t done much this year anyway. He was absolutely dominated at LSU. You could see in the film breakdown he was pushed 5 yards down field on several plays. Georgia and Alabama continue to get all the studs and we get the leftovers from our own state. Recruiting is a real bummer right now. PortalU is not working either.

LSU OG Martinez was at STA in Fort Lauderdale. True sophomore playing major minutes for LSU. At least one of the guys pushing us around was from FL
