My love for football will never die, but I don't;'t have much love of the way the current system works- it is really quite disturbing. 15 tutors working feverishly to make a kid be ok in the classroom. (Some kids excluded from this group) Full housing and meal plan. Best of everything. Free ride. Best medical support too. NIL $. and their devotion to the University is to Opt out. Fk Them. Just my 2 cents.

I'm proud of the kids we got in this year's class. They want to be Gators and I really appreciate their commitment. I wish there was a place to let them know how much we appreciate their commitment.

Anyway. Yeah, the system is broken.

If we're stuck with NIL, which it looks like we are, I wish that NIL payments were at least made in the form of a contract between the player and the University. A contract that both sides agree to and are expected to fulfill. No different than an NFL contract. NIL in today's form basically allows the inmates to run the asylum.

 

This is FSU’s chance to prove to the college football world they belongs in the CFP.

Some of their fans are wanting this to count as an exhibition gam.

 

Charge the players for tuition, food, and housing.
