    He been committed to Dumbo since July last year. In this day and age of recruiting that's a lifetime to try and hold on to a recruit. Let's see if he can do it or will he join his Texas brethren Lagway and filsaime

    Johnny originally recorded it in 1962 and then rerecorded it with Rick Rubin in 1994.
    Moses Houston actually shot Delia in the early part of the 1900s.
    Song went thru many variations until Johnny got hold of it and made it what most sing it as today.

    Just guessing, maybe Delia's song was in The Gambler movie somewhere? I'm not sure about those two key points but Johnny Cash also recorded The Gambler shortly before Rogers did in 1978. But it was Kenny that made it famous.
