    Look within brother

A literal grown man crying for a mod to remove somebody because of a differing opinion on a sports team. Truly a life to be admired

24th on On3 with only 15 commits 2 of which are kicker//punter (really good too) frenchie, Thomas, Dice, Wilson. All still out there and with heavy interest in UF.

A week ago we were in the 50's and you were saying the class will be historicaly bad. Now were are top 25 on On3 and you are saying that's where we will end up?

Do you not see the upward trend? The sudden surge in recruiting after a couple weeks of crickets ? We're gonna have a strong finish to this class. But we can agree to disagree.

CBN has yet to finish with a bad class and you're already writing this class off? It's not even ESD let alone NSD or portal window and you've packed it in.

Yeah man, we shot up like that because of how historically bad it was. I’ll be happy to eat crow if Napier out of no where somehow pulls about 10 more high 4 star/5 stars like regular classes should be.

Portal isn’t for recruiting. Norvell has proven that. You can get some key pieces but I’m very against using the portal for the bulk of the class.
He also hasnt ever been in this type of hole this close to ESD. Last year we went backwards the closer we got to ESD

Norvell is a bad example. He went portal heavy bc he couldn't recruit a HS QB or WR to save his life. Maybe look at Lane at ole miss for the best example, he worked the portal for damn near his entire QB room, RB and some WR among other positions and did just ok with HS recruiting. Find your core in the HS ranks and solidify the class with portal guys like Badger, ja'kaiJackson, Dike, George Gumbs, Cam Jackson etc. But we already have 15 commits, plus more coming and bolster a primarily young roster. How many open schollys do you think we have available? The portal will be full of some talented plug and play guys that you will want to have a spot for.

My last comment on this because it's clear we are going to have to agree to disagree.

You disregard what a few of us have already written when you continue to claim the class was so bad and therefore the reason for the jump. That's simply not true. The class was so small which is the reason for the jump. Call it semantics but it's accurate. Adding 3s and 4s to a class of 2s and 3s wouldn't jump a large class if that's what we had. By force or by choice we have been more selective instead of taking flyers on several kids most likely because of the portal which speaks to the next point.

The foundation of the team is already here and young. They are getting invaluable experience this year. A few portal plugs isn't the same thing as what fsu did. It's actually what Miami did and to a lesser extent what we did as well. Badger, Dike, Bridges, BCD and others are massively significant to the team this year. Won't always he that fortunate to hit on so many but it is a significant part of roster building today.

Again, I'm not gonna take pot shots at you but you would be better off seeing some positivity out of the situation you can't change regardless...

This pretty much sums up my thoughts about this season in general. And there's especially no need to harp on the negative things you can't change in a welcome thread for a new commit. Some people are just miserable and want to make sure other people are, too.

Looks like a decent pick up from Palm Beach County. Star rankings are less reliable for OL than other positions. Frame, work ethic and coaching make a big difference. He's got the frame and the staff must think he's coachable.

Small at this stage IS bad. We have a few solid pieces in the class, and we have a pretty solid core on the roster - except 1) you can’t expect them all to be there next year in this day and age and 2) you can’t “take a year off” from getting HS recruits to get others from the portals - just going to result in having too many juniors/seniors and require MASSIVE classes in a couple years. Then we are back to being where we are now - young and talented but very young.

Also our coach is literally a bad game day coach but that’s another convo.

Agree to disagree, whatever it’s fine, but as we load up in the portal we are disrupting the natural flow of class by class attrition, and will have to be compensated in the future with massive classes that will again result in us being too young to win big.

definition of treason in the constitution:
Article III, Section 3, Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort

we are gonna sit here and act like Strickland is not adhering to our enemies, giving them aid and comfort by keeping Napier employed? Kirby looks pretty damn comfortable playing Napier led teams every year. He’s aiding the enemy, clearly. Strickland and Napier both need to go

Our first winning season in 3 years is going to be 7-5? Still a chance we only go .500 anyways. This isn’t acceptable dude, no matter how many excuses are made.
