You and your ilk, who purport to be Gator fans, have relentlessly criticized our coaching staff, the AD, the university, etc., for a year or more, demanding that Napier be fired, the assistants be fired, the AD be fired, etc. In almost every thread--regardless of what the thread subject- you and your swarm of insects spewed your negative fire everyone venom. Most of you mosquitoes wanted Napier gone two months ago.

Do you think recruits want to sign with a coach who will be gone before they get there? Every consider the impact of your nauseating negativity on recruiting, genius?

Now, having undermined from within, you criticize where our recruiting is at present, ignoring all the while the role you played in that, and then have the nerve to call the rest of us treasonous.

A traitor, that sabotages his unit, his team, his company, his friends, whatever, from within, is treasonous and disgusting. And that's what you are.

Napier is getting another year, deal with it, if you can, and try and shut up in the meantime.

 

We have some serious recruitnicks on this board, (I am not one of them) but I like your post, I like the energy in the program after LSU, the recruiting up-tick, and the very real chance to go to a bowl. I do understand the frustration of the fan base, starting with CDM's last year and under CBN's so far. But things are trending up, however slightly, and thats a great thing. UF has a "real deal" QB for the future. I will acknowledge I was low as hell after the TX wipeout but if LSU proved anything, it's UF has a shot with DJL.

The other issue is the Athletic Director made a public statement that CBN was going to be coach in 25. I see no reason to do anything but support UF for the rest of this year and going into 25. I am pretty excited about the Ole Miss game, sure they will be favored, but they were against LSU and KY. I don't think the game is out of UF's reach. I'm looking forward to it.

 

People criticized Stricklin for that show of support, but it was absolutely the right thing to do. Lagway and the players supported it, and recruiting is trending up as a result.

As was I, but as you stated, something has changed with this team. Should have beaten Tennessee and could've, and I believe would've, beaten uga had DJ not gotten hurt. Unlike Norvell, BN never lost his team. However, if we somehow lose to fsu, he should be left in Tally like Kiffen was on the tarmac.

 

Totally agree with you!!! I pretty much decided to shut up and see how this season shakes out. After Miami, I thought BN was toast, and I wanted him gone! Personally, I have never seen one player have such a major impact on a program as DJ. To my knowledge, no one has attributed the success of the defense to the inspiration of DJ's inspirational play. I'm not saying everything is roses, but fans can only whine so much. Of course, some of us can wine more than others!

I am not our recruiting class. So many comments to me personally but only 1 person even addressed our pathetic recruiting class. Very telling

 

You're a turd in the punchbowl for your constant negativity. As has been mentioned numerous times, we were in the 50s or 60s just a few weeks ago. Since then, we've climbed into the 20s, and signing day hasn't happened yet. Not a soul has said they were happy with where we are as a finishing position in recruiting, but only a turd isn't happy with how we're trending. If we end up with a very strong finish, are you going to come back and say you were wrong?

 

Do you think recruit is are going to come play 3 years for a coach that is going to be fired next year anyways? Or are they going to get a massive check because we are desperate then leave once Napier gets canned next year? OR are they not even going to come here because it’s obvious our coach and administration suck?

Riddle me this - why are you ok with a subpar program? Urban would’ve had a heart attack if his team was on par to be 6-6 or at best 7-5.
Seriously answer why you are ok with this instead of writing a novel about how mad you are there are fans who realize we suck while you don’t yet.
