I think the question is, have the people supposedly involved actually been disassociated from the program. If they have then something is up. It may not “rise to the level that warrants an NCAA investigation if it’s simply “consensual sex”, but something happened. A ménage de, (whatever the number of involved is in French) may give some Mothers some pause…but let’s be honest, while it may be embarrassing to the participants, (or may not) it certainly is not illegal, and surely not in Georgia or Louisiana. If it also involved other incidents associated with recruiting, and can be proven, it might prove a problem for LSU, since they are on probation… but that’s a big if.
LSU literally protected Les Miles as he was committing tons of Title IX violations and followed that with Orgeron doing all types of weird stuff all while their basketball coach was doing all sorts of illegal recruiting. Do you really think an alleged sex party is going to slow them down? lol
It does the beg the question on a larger scale the way things are trending: a farm system similar to what MLB has with different schools being part of an NFL team's "system". Not in favor of that, but for all intents and purposes it gets closer to that.
I know a good booster of LSU. He said the entrance requirements are a 2.5 GPA and a 24 on the ACT. My 16 year old labrador retriever could do that.
Your post looked a bit fishy so I looked up LSU requirements. An actual GPA wasn't listed among the academic record requirements and LSU is a test-optional school. The "booster" or you have it all wrong. Additionally, LSU's 2022 class GPA range was 3.5-4.1 and ACT range 23-29. Certainly not in UF ranges, but better than what you presented. And while your 16-year old dog could get a 24 on the ACT, that's a respectable score (not quite meeting FL Bright Futures min. of 25). a lot of good students don't get that score. Don't be a drama queen.
Well that was 2015 I asked what do kids do that can't get in and he replied "They go to Alabama". Liquor was involved LOL.
