Do you think you made some sort of logical argument? You posted an assertion that you pulled out of your rectum, and it's unfalsifiable. If Billy doesn't hire a new OC you'll say you were right, and if Billy does hire a new OC you'll say you were right and he's overriding him.

Fair enough. The first part of my statement is absolutely provable. He will either hire an OC or he won't. I don't think he will. I'll leave it at that.

I do think there will be change at OL coaching.

I must be an outlier. The offense wasn’t spectacular but let’s be honest, the offensive line was not very good this season. Thats not a coordinator issue it’s depth, talent and coaching. Mostly depth and talent. Fix that and suddenly Napier is the next coming.

Wasn’t the gist of my post. He’s a known alcoholic thus my liver hurts thinking about it.

I got that. He has always had great numbers on offense and scored more than the teams he played. A funny thing, he doesn’t like FG’s.

Isnt this the coach who basically said the University couldnt fire him because it would be too expensive? Just for them to go and do just that because this is Texas what do you mean too expensive and college football? Or and Im confusing him with someone else from recent news?
Eh...no thanks. As bad as we are in need thats not the kind of commitment we need from a coach to a program in terms of understanding his importance to the overall operation of things.
    Edit: YES.

Yeah, I understand that there's more to it in college, but that's a huge difference in pay we're talking about. In Johnson's case, he'll be a HC in the NFL in less than five years, so that's probably how he's looking at it anyway.

College is at least twice the workload. NFL is more prestigious and dealing with semi adults.

Yep, he’s gotta win 7-8 next year. The take our time and build it plan was never the way to go mindset wise. You can win while building. More of an urgency needed to be placed on winning from day one.
