Given Goldman’s entire adult life he is not talking about violence. He was a federal prosecutor for heaven’s sake Now He is a politician and referring to political elimination. To any rational person it's obvious that Goldman was referring to the elimination of Trump as a political candidate. Seems that you're projecting. Rationally and in context he meant the Trump should never be allowed to run for public office, not that the once and former Dear Leader should be physically eliminated.
