CWS 2022 Schedule/Scores/Discussion

It is a long way to drive a tractor.

 

Most talented team(IMO) is gone.

Just dawned on me 5 of the 8 were ranked #1 by media at some point, by at least one outlet. Texas, Ole Miss, Ark, Stanford, UND. But only 2 of those were seeded.

aTm got up to 5th. AU highest was 17th , Not sure on OU.

 

Is owning 100K+ farm equipment a bad thing? no idea, just asking. Ill cruise Trenton, newberry, Keystone Hgts, Hawthorne and ask..

 

That play at third looked like something from Little League.

 

I have farm family. They would never drive their tractors to a game. They would drive their Buicks.

But none of them went to Auburn

 

Especially when you stop and clean all those restrooms. Old Auburn joke about following the highway signs "Clean restrooms ahead". LOL.

 

Who to pull for tonight??

I put same amount on both Ark(+550) & Ole Miss(+700) to win it all(pre CWS) Do i pull for Hogs which I picked at very start of tourney, or Rebs for a few extra bucks? I prefer Hogs, all things being equal, but not by a lot.

 

Good idea, it cost like $20 in diesel right now just to start a tractor.

 

More gambling talk/tip. Take the over in early game today. AU starting #3 again, same guy that didnt get out of 1st in Corvallis. saving the rested #1-2 guy for opener next year.

 

There will be at least 1 SEC(w) in finals.

I thought Foster was going to puke in batters box, hit a 3 run dbl instead.

All 7 games so far decided by at least 4 runs.

 

Therefor the update.. I have a theory the more 'casual' fans that tune in to AU games(espec. in post season)the less chance at winning.. So maybe youre on to something.

The Au group you were strangely concerned with the other night found parking for the tractors today.

Speaking off,, way to much off field/game camera stuff. In general, not just today.

yep. hes the equivalent to Kopps last year, w/ much more velo. 91-93 that just disappears is a problem..lol
He hadnt been same since pulling hammy vs Vols . But last 2 outings has been filthy.

3 actually, he finished off the ucla rout also. Eliminated the big 3 from Pac12 during run.

Hogs on 2nd P in 1st. Potentially a good sign if have to play the loser..

 

I watched! I didn’t go to it as we were at the Omaha Zoo but I watched it at Upstream Brewery in the Old Market.

Will be at the ND-A&M game tomorrow. Went to the Texas-Texas A&M debacle yesterday. Tried to go to Texas-ND on Friday but tickets were $100+ so I just drank in the Fan Zone.

 

Perhaps every other year the CWS could move to Birmingham or Atlanta to help save on travel costs for many of the teams. Yea I know the teams in Texas and Oklahoma teams would hate it but I'd be nice to change things up sometimes.

 

I watched, but was also busy cooking dinner so I did not post.
