I saw that the AHCA fine was three times with the administrative law judge recommended, if I am recalling correctly. We can only imagine the type of people DeSantis has staffed that agency with. It seems like the amount of the fine might have gotten reversed by legal challenge based upon those limited facts.

 

"Lets see honey. We can give money to feeding the children, World Vision, or some other charity feeding and sheltering kids... Or... Or... Or... Wait for it...hear me out... "

 

"Let's see honey, we can give money for women's health, counseling and nutrition or we can spend it on prosecuting them for reproductive decisions we don't like. Hmm..."

Seriously though... When i see "abortion clinic" I dont really think of general womens health issues. Generally it is literally about abortion. People arent donating to a go fund me for vitamins.

If they actually did than kudos to them.

 

Or people are donating due to their disgust with government overreaching to restrict women's fundamental rights and imposing ridiculous fines to punish places providing needed services.

Similar to some of the anti-choice posters here motivating me to donate to Planned Parenthood.

LOL. You don't just show up at the abortion clinic and take a number. After testing positive and deciding on that option, you schedule an appointment. You are then transported to the facility on your designated day where the person signs in and awaits their turn. There is an abundance of time for the woman to change her mind.

24 hours is nothing but another roadblock the anti-choice inserted to deter women from following through on their choice.

 

24 hours to consider the finality of the death they seek to deliver unto another.

That's a pretty small ask.

Guess the morbid left really misses the McDonald's baby blender drive thru days afforded under that bill congress passed by supermajority known as Roe v Wade.

This is not a winning argument for you. If the overriding concern was to improve the well being of children, the ones that are actually alive, lack food education and health care, why is it the number one issue for many Republicans and many churches is abortion in the U.S?
