    In xc I think yes. But valby won the 5k in track. I think Tuohy was in that race.

    She was. And Valby beat her by a significant margin.

    I am pretty sure this is Valby's first win over Tuohy. I think Tuohy was a scratch in the NCAA Outdoor 5k back in June.

    Tuohy did scratch. She had not performed as well in the 10,000 as expected. Should be an interesting national meet, Valby is looking incredibly strong.

    More seriously- Regionals today in Gainesville.

    Gators women punch ticket to the Charlottesville CC championship finishing 2nd. Valby coasts to victory as she had built up a 12 second lead at the 4560M mark. Mazza-Downie scratched this morning. This probably cost UF the overall team title because without her we simply do not have a competitive 5th runner. Hopefully she returns for the championship as she would give a huge boost to any possible team natty aspirations.
