2020 broke their brains for real, "black students are acting up because liberals critiqued the police" is some grim authoritarian shit man
I stole the word "rambunctious" from Evil Dave Letterman who prank called an adoption agency for the Howard Stern Show. Evil Dave is a Letterman impersonator. 3 min video
Until they revise the correct numbers. https://www.realclearinvestigations...etly_revises_violent_crime_stats_1065396.html Lemmings.
Interesting comment. Did you know that the crime rate in 2021 was adjusted downward causing that change? I bet you didn't, but you chose to jump off the cliff because somebody told you something that you like. What would you call somebody who did that? Sounds a bit lemming-like, doesn't it? (Feel free to not answer, we both know the answer).
I'm aware of 2021. This is really about the muiron fact-checking Trump during the debate. We know the fake news media's sole purpose is to cover for failing democratic policies. It's a 6.6% swing. The fact-checker was wrong. That's a shitload more crime. There’s been a net increase of 80,029 violent crimes, 1,699 more murders, 7,780 additional rapes, 33,459 more robberies, and 37,091 more aggravated assaults. Will the muiron apologize to all the lemmings that jumped for joy as he fact-checked the President? No, fake news is like crack to the lemmings.
Here is the fact check: The increase in crime in 2022 actually means that the FBI statistics now have crime falling even faster in 2023 with it still falling in 2024. Why would he apologize for saying something true?
Still wrong, but I like the effort. From the DOJ : https://bjs.ojp.gov/document/cv23.pdf Violent crime: +37% Rape: +42% Robbery: +63% Assault: +34% Aggravated assault: +55% Simple assault: +29% Violent crime excluding simple assault: +55% Domestic violence: +32% Intimate partner violence: +29% Stranger violence: +61% Violent crime with an injury: +10% Violent crime with a weapon: +56% Property crime: +8% Motor vehicle theft: +42% Other theft: +8%
What are those numbers comparing? 2022 had a rate of violent crime victimizations of 23.5 per 1,000, according to the link you provided. 2023 had a rate of 22.5 per 1,000. You listed that as +37%. Show me the math on that one.
Did you know the FBI stopped accepting data from the old summary system and only accepted data through a new system in 2021? Many police agencies, including those in large cities, were unable to comply with the new requirements and did not report data at all in 2021. New York, LA, and Chicago reported no data, and Phoenix reported some. Apparently, a lot of crime does not get reported around the country and FL is a state that does a poor job. https://floridaphoenix.com/2023/10/27/politicians-love-to-cite-crime-data-its-often-wrong/
Like I've said before, this dude is a parody of himself. And a parody of Russian propaganda in general, which is typically so stupidly over the top that any credibility is lost in the first few words.
Yes, I did know that. In fact, that issue in 2021 is what caused this adjustment. They are attempting to estimate response bias in 2021 and 2022, before the reporting levels went back to historical norms in 2023. In doing so, they attempted a new method, which served to lower their estimates in 2021 and raise their estimates in 2022, with an overall effect of slightly lowering their estimates over that two year period. BTW, the reason they switched systems was to provide more real-time accurate data. And that data has been showing decreased crime over the last couple of years.
They got their numbers from the DOJ. Crime is not going down. It's just not being reported. https://bjs.ojp.gov/document/cv23.pdf
