Wow, now that is nuts... But Baugh has a much higher ceiling than that mutt football play does. Baugh can handle a blitzing LB. The other guy? Not so much.

That’s cool. On a related note I wonder who is the next good RB from this class…

I know that KD Daniel’s is a stud…can’t wait to see Baugh, Webb, KD and jakobi dominating next year.

I would think so. He hasn't been playing because of injury I think?

I just wonder if he sees Baugh, Jackson and KD and wonders about his reps.

I'm sure he does but any good teams got a stable of good backs. I mean, if a kid is scared of competition, he's not going to amount too much anyway.

I agree. There is an obvious cultural shift in the program to a team mentality, he is as selfish as they come.

    Tilly,

Can you imagine if Jackson had that amount of carries. Almost 6.0 yards a carry and the most undervalued and underappreciated back in the nation.

Glad you mentioned Jackson, as the kid has been waiting for carries and is the best back on the team. Don’t get me wrong BAUGH is the best in the future and has the greatest upside. Baugh is an NFL back in just a few years, but Jackson has just a great understanding of how to get yards and gets better as the game goes. If we are to beat Ole Miss and Florida State Jackson will need 15 carries in each game. He and Baugh are the future. Like Johnson but should not be taking carries from either of these guys.

We have issues at a few positions but running back is definitely NOT one of them!

. . . and ours is a freshman, and just getting started, and the other one is a junior. Thanks Tilly!

Love seeing JJ get some carries and showing out. He’s put in the work and it’s showing on the field. That said, I hope Webb stays, he’s a fine runner and has shown his worth in pass protection. I honestly believed he was gonna break out this year before the injury bug got him. But, Baugh and Jackson have held it down as the 3 and 4 backs. Quality depth is a beautiful thing. ETN was a part of that until he wasn’t. He got paid and we neither miss him nor need him.

KD and Webb were injured. As this year has shown to ETN and the world, any RB is just one injury away…
