    If you are inferring our flirting with Chip, he was washed out as an NFL HC (perhaps a lesser version of Jon Gruden) but as far as I know, his success (while enhanced and nurtured with Microsoft - or was it Oracle? - money) was about football acumen (at least on the offensive side) and not because he had a strategic advantage in player personnel. That game would be in the area of Smart and Swinney.

    And to my point, he is (was?) the OC for the 2024 season NC team. Can you see Cal or Self or Wade going back to being a second (or third) fiddle on a quality team? Highly unlikely.
