Yeah, no last appearances, not a good sign. Although I am sure they would bring him back if he changes his mind.

I'm guessing he wants a guaranteed starting spot and $2M

I won't panic, just that it appears to be unmet expectations of what they perceive is their value (monetary mainly) to the team. We shall see where this is all heading. It all feels like both the downside to NIL silliness (me, not team) and feeling butthurt.

Alexis is totally unsurprising to me, but Aberdeen is a shocker. After the way the three starting senior guards all talked about sacrificing to win, it's surprising the guy who has waited his turn now wants to jump ship. I'm super bummed but holding out hope he will get a raise and will return. We are much weaker at the guard position without him and his experience.

Alexis isn’t terribly surprising. He had slid to 5th in the rotation.

    Aberdeen though? WTF.

Wow, after 3 years battling it out and working his way up - why now???? HAD to be because of Lee’s commitment, probably wanted to be the starting PG

Had to be bacause of Lee. He enters the portal right after Lee commits and will be our starting PG. what a big blow, but next man up. I’m more concerned about retaining Condo and Haugh

I think that's it. Lee gonna be like Pullin which means Zel won't be primary ball handler. He's not as well suited to being a 2.

He thought this was his team. Now it's not. Tragic all the way around. Sucks

Somebody please let me know (PM) when there is something official and I will unlock the thread so it can be posted. Thanks.

Edit: Jeff told me it was on Instagram but I don't use that. I'll bet a lot of you guys do though.

Edit II: OP sent me a 247 link which I put in his OP. Unhappy news but we wish Aberdeen the best. He was a big part of last season's success and national championship!

Let’s not lock this thread, please. In fact, can we open the other for discussion?
Since when is a message adverse to posting a widely reported/circulating rumor?

Ugh, that hurts. Guessing he wanted to play point and feels like Xaivian might make that not happen. Hope he stays, but will wish him the best if he leaves. But we could really use him

Yes i think this is it. Went from his team to Lee’s team. Wonder if he would ever consider returning - i’m sure Golden is giving him the full court press
