I get the people questioning who exactly Cracker Barrel thinks is going to order this (presumably someone trying to avoid meat isn’t going there to start with given that I suspect pretty much every item on their menu save side salads has some animal product in it). Don’t understand being upset or offended by it though. Who cares if Cracker Barrel puts an item no one will buy on their menu?
Don’t worry, once he catches wind of this he’ll work on a legislation to force all Cracker Barrel restaurants in Florida to remove the item from the menu.
I find it funny that they sell it because the stats on the "Impossible" Whopper vs the original are virtually identical. One gram less saturated, 8g less fat in total. Higher in sugar and carbs. And only a 30cal savings. Is Burger King's 'Impossible Whopper' really healthier than a regular Whopper? - My Daily Smile
yep. Maybe not catering to vegans, but at least give them an option so a family/ group can still go to CB if one is a vegan. Plus a company kind of needs to be aware of trends. Over last 10 years there are a lot more vegans.
Ate there the other night. It's generally a decent place for comfort food. But how many times do I have to google how to solve that stupid golf tee/triangle puzzle before I memorize it???
Its Sunday dinner, you drag the family to Cracker Barrel, and finally there is a meatless option for your teen daughter in her goth Lisa Simpson phase.
We're not vegetarian but my wife cooks meatless breakfast sausage once or twice a month. It's delicious, as good as meat. As long as it tastes good I don't care what I eat. I love how fragile the right wing is.
I thought part of the draw for plant based was that they were better health wise than the terrible red meat...
They have victimhood down to a science. Case in point their orange god's speech to cpac the other night. A chorus of violins...(watched out of morbid curiosity).
Most vegetarians/vegans I know do it for ethical reasons, not because its healthier food. I hope people arent eating meatless fried chicken, vegan cookies and cupcakes thinking they are health food.
If anyone ever sneaks this fake meat type of food onto my plate, I eat it and like it, I’m going to be really pissed off. Lol Seriously who cares? SMDH
