At the outbreak of WWII, in addition to the Axis, the US Army/military also had to battle dysentery, typhus, syphilis, influenza, bacterial meningitis, bacterial pneumonia, measles, mumps, tropical diseases and other acute respiratory diseases. Wartime programs, like the flu commission, developed or improved a total of 10 vaccines for diseases of military significance, some in time to meet the objectives of particular operations.
    Medicine was a good thing.
    What happened to my country?

RIP: Not sure about the internet per se... Maybe Facebook and twitter, I would not know, never had a desire to be involved with those those two. I have better things to do, than gossip. Although I admit I enjoy 2 hot for swampgas. :0

This seems about right. The number is probably lower than 97% since not everyone got vaxed on the first day available. Most adults get around 90% protection from hospitalization, vs no vaccine. Over 80 years old is about 80%.

That might be true about the elderly, but you still cannot make any valid claim that your natural immunity is better than any vaccine.
There's no way for you to determine it.

Not everyone I don’t think. It may just be for immuno compromised people and hospital staff. Also I think it has to be something like 8 months since your last shot. I had my first shot back on 12/23/20. Doesn’t seem that long ago. They just announced that they were giving shots next to the cafeteria so I stopped in.

    1. You arent fully vaccinated until 14 days after your final shot.
    2. This means that once fully vaccinated your risk drops considerably.

Thats sorta the way vaccines work.

"Thanks for clarifying that" would have been a better response.

Since vaccine efficacy has resulted in less than 10% of patients in hospitals were vaccinated, then shows us where claims were made that exceeded that, as you claim. Your quote: "And you and others who have been vaccinated might be still hurting those around you." If vaxxed people "hurt" others more. then prove it.... or be honest and admit unvaccinted "hurt" considerably more. Give us links to you resarch. Hint... don't use Gateway Pundit, FB or Twitter sources anymore.

Most of the most recent info I have seen shows natural immunity is better than vaccine. But I'm not sure why it is so important for some to repeat over and over again.

Those that support natural immunity should be doing everything in their power to get infected and infect others.

If I get infected, I'm much less likely to get infected!!

Yeah it's an odd argument. The goal is not to get natural immunity in the first place.

I have a bunch of neighbors who already got the booster or whatever you call it
They Went to walgreens , signed a form, and got the shot.
All of them are 65+. You have to attest you have an issue but no proof or doctors note is necessary. Walgreens can't question you on it. I'm in Florida

As I have stated, on this topic before: it appears that natural immunity may give an individual a better ability to fight off the C19 via "natural" antibodies in the future. However, the risk of dying or an extended illness (hospitalization) from this method of self inoculation just doesn't make sense. Hopefully all those thumping their chest's regarding their natural immunity truly were exposed to C19 and were tested for the presence of antibodies.

As a side note; I wonder if more people would get vaccinated if C19 caused bodily disfigurement like smallpox. We are such a vain nation, death ain't no big deal but we wouldn't want to be "disfigured".
