I am not that good at pulling triggers.

I sure as hell would write the code that provisions the tools to make the operation a success.

I’d prefer it was a trigger to a long-distance weapon, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Without question, apology, or much reflection afterward.

No. Putin’s hardliners are threatening nuclear strikes after Putin’s spiritual advisor and architect of the Ukraine invasion narrowly escaped an assassination attempt that killed his daughter. Imagine what they will do if P is assassinated. I would not want to be responsible for millions of American deaths.

That sicko has unleashed a tide of murder, rape, and pillage on Europe to a degree unseen since WW2. And the worst may be yet to come. If I thought one bullet could end this, then I would do it. Judge as harshly as you like.

I don’t think so. But not because he doesn’t deserve it. I just don’t think I could kill someone.

I imagine it would be pretty easy if you could face and meet a number of people that would die at Putin's hands if you didn't kill him though. We mourn for Ukraine but it's hard to grasp the carnage of it from the comfort of a living room. Something like ole "when a family member dies its a tragedy but when thousands die in a war its a statistics" mindset. I could Cleary conscience pretty easily when all things are considered.

If I could be promised it would end it and not escalate it, maybe.

Oh, so we are just openly fantasizing about killing people we disagree with. We've really lost our way as a country. :)

If he’s, tried, convicted and sentenced to death, could you? We do all the time.

No one knows the answer to that question if they’re being honest. There are some who believe they could, but until they’re in that situation no one really can know for sure.

It's much more than mere disagreement. Using your terminology we may be "openly fantasizing" about killing an individual responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands and possibly hundreds of thousands of people most of which were innocent civilians.
And this was decades before the Russian invasion of Ukraine and he's following a similar playbook in that country.
