My first reaction is to think these latest ones have to be some incredibly bad accounting errors. The lectern, however, is how I think her friends got to go on that trip to Europe with her.

Not really. There won't be repercussions. It's not like she's gonna resign in shame. Her voting block doesn't care. The rest of the GOP in Arkansas won't do anything.

    Corruption Rules.

criminal misappropriation of funds. requires the AG to investigate. will he? should go to a special prosecutor but no idea how that happens on a state level

A legislative audit has been completed, 7 areas of non-compliance with state statutes uncovered and criminal referrals have been made.

Arkansas taxpayers paid Huckabee's friend, the owner of Beckett Events, a $2500 consulting fee regarding the purchase of the lectern. something the company does not deal in.

She needed to pay a friend $2500 to help her pick out a $20,000 veneer and plywood podium ... The grift never stops with the Republicans....

The $2,500 was used for a European girls trip. It was Sarah funding it through the state.

A democrat would be out of a job. A republican will probably get a VP nod from Trump.

TBF $2500 is chump change. I can confidently assume, if she’s anything like Papa Huckabee, she’s grifted multiples more than that for her friends.

What is interesting is this is the same sort of accusation leveled at that GA prosecutor Fanni Willis.

Think they’ll go after this with the same zeal? LOLNO.

Close.. if Fanni Willis hired her dog walker boyfriend to do lawyer work it would be the same. At least she hired boyfriend lawyer to do lawyer work.

True, but I meant more the “going on a taxpayer funded trip together” aspect.

Winner. It’s $2500 lol, and fanni brought it on herself. Completely different. Still wrong but different. Again, they’re all crooks.

Chump change compared to the world class gifting that the Dems are involved with.

Every state would lose most of their congress and half of their governors ... Lol.
Speaking of gifting and governors... I wonder if California every found that $24 BILLION dollars (for the homeless) that seem to have gone missing?
