Speaking of bars. Here locally in FL the ones with mostly younger customers are still getting decent business but the places like the Eagles and Moose Club etc. with mostly older patrons are pretty empty now.

And those younger patrons will carry the virus to their parents and infect them. There is going to be a lot of therapy needed in the next few years with young adults wondering if they killed their parents because they wanted to party over spring break.

Yep I guess everyone should be locked down until June to make sure the transmission is at its absolute lowest.

I read a Dr's theory that follows kind of what you're saying. He's thinking we have exponentially more positives here but aren't yet seeing the death count skyrocket, so possibly we are inheriting a less potent virus as it spreads from it's source. Very optimistic, but I like the way he thinks.

Curious to see how this looks in a few weeks. Florida is about the only place in the US now with Temps and enough humidity that might hinder this stuff a little spreading easily.

You know what it is. :D

That will be interesting to monitor during the elbow of the exponential hockey stick. The death rate should lag infections by upwards of 23 = 5 + 18 days (incubation and hospitalization periods).

That would be good news. We obviously have more exposure than we have tested for.

    Ah, good point.

Of course, he was talking about the restrictions by the feds being changed, not the abundance of test kits.
And keep in mind, that he was quoted five days after you said there were plenty of test kits available. But Fauci admitted the program had been failure.

Speaking of bars, Governor Pritzker just announced they will be closed throughout the state, along with restaurants until further notice. Shit's gettin' real.
