    MN shutting down. Don’t know all the details but sounds like some pretty serious restrictions beginning tomorrow.

    I think we'll be hitting 3k deaths per day within a few weeks. The vaccines can't get here fast enough.

    Only public execution will suffice.

    Hospitals in half the states are facing a massive staffing shortage- STAT
    And we have yet to reach peak levels for this wave. This time around the hot spots are spread across the country not isolated to a few states.

    Friday morning update from world o meter as of 8 am EST. I have not updated the spreadsheet since Monday. So since Monday:
    • There are just 5 states that have a decrease in active cases;
    • There were almost 700,000 new cases;
    • Thee were 355,000 more active cases;
    • There were no states with 0 deaths and 7 states had 1-8 deaths;
    • The death rate per reported case continues to slowly drop, it is down to 2.138%.

    Don't understand why your stat's never include daily death rates. Over 2,000 now, IMHO that is the most important stat of all.

    High risk individuals get to jump the line. What will be the standard? My wife and I are both over 60, though I'm in excellent health. (That could change if necessary.) Hope my dad gets it soon. He's 90 and can't wait to get back to the office.

    The standard? Like everything else in this country Strange, those who pay the most for the short cut.

    You can be assured that the priority in the US will look like this:
    Tie - Billionaires and Politicians
    Millionaires
    Pro Athletes
    Music Stars
    Famous Folk

    After these most important sectors are squared away then the proletarian masses will be thrown needles from a moving truck.

    There is a stated strategy that I believe gets it to healthcare workers, first responders and other frontline civil servants like police. Next was to be vulnerable populations in care facilities.

    Beyond that, not sure. Personally, I will wait until the end of next year as everyone runs out to become the Phase 4 safety and efficacy studies for these companies. I am no anti-vaxxer, but I also do not need to be in the first 20-50 million people getting these shots either. I can live without restaurants (I am not wishing that they fail, I just do not need to go sit in one), I can live without in-store shopping, I can live without travel and I have been working from home since March 1 and can keep doing it.....well, forever if my employer decides I should.

    I am all for it. I hope that they identify all of the low level side-effects that lead to death in that group you have listed. I cannot think of a better group to perform medical experiments on.
