It really quite simple, shutdown stops the spread, until you reopen. Then within 6-8 weeks it spreads again.
All the criticism of Florida reopening too soon now goes out the window.

Unless you are accepting shutdown until a cure or effective vaccine is available.

If its that contagious I'm curious why all the anti-maskers don't have it by now ....(speaking from a scientific view)

What I see is that 80% of people wearing masks aren't wearing them correctly.

No one is saying they don't like those charts. What they are saying is that those charts don't tell the full story.

Just a friendly suggestion, but you're getting dragged down in the mud. What's that expression about the mud and the pig? ;)

Posting actual stats is not trolling. It may not be the perfect counter to your point which is also worthy of discussion, but to dismiss those stats is just digging in. His stats are not wrong are they?

If not, how is posting them "trolling"?

C'mon. He is just as guilty of attacking 95's data. They are both going at it fist for fist. Neither is trolling and neither has 100% right to claim a dub.

We could all post a million charts and studies to back points. That is the problem with this virus. It still has a lot of surprising turns to throw at us.

Honestly, the charts weren't. There is a counter to them, which was pointed out to him multiple times (they were data points not randomly selected, but rather because they fit a worldview). He then dug in on declaring victory over and over again for pages because people pointed out the flaws in the logic and data collection methodology that he used (myself included but others as well). Then he started mocking the very notion of science and expertise. That is trolling, which was the basis of that claim.

Yeah, that is utter drivel. Good effort. Ask France how that mask mandate is going LOL. Those pesky charts are tough aren't they? Keep going, you're hot LOL.

He did not mock science. He mocked what some may claim as science, as the "science" has changed pretty rapidly during this thing.

Truth is no one knows the full science and we wont for some time. That is what many people are mocking.

he purposely frames his responses to elicit a reaction. Read how he talks to people. He isn’t interested in actual conversation, he’s interested in gaslighting people. If you can’t see that I don’t know what to tell you.

Here is a quote from him:

The scientific process is to peer-review new pieces of knowledge to judge their worth and decide whether they are accurate descriptions of the world. How is that not mocking the scientific process of knowledge collection?

Science is the process. No one will ever know the full truth about just about anything. Science is the process by which we get continually closer.

Sorry, your unscientific guess is simply BS. Approximately 1/2 of the 200+ covid deaths are people aged over 74. Your flying by the seat of FB and Twitter claim that there's 50-60k deaths is borderline moronic. If EVERY SINGLE senior assigned as a covid death was somehow in a massive nationwide conspiracy --- assigned their death incorrectly. Now for your conspiracy to work you STILL need the 50% of the 100K younger people to be incorrectly listed as a covid death as well. Don't embarrass yourself, you are not even in the ball park.

That made no sense at all. It's simple. You don't like the data I provided. It's ok that it doesn't jive with your preconceived notions that Shutdowns and masks conquer all. Ask France how that's going. 50% of the 100k younger people? Look at the ages of deaths before coming here and making up stuff. Not a good look for you.

Here is the chart from the CDC as of Sept 16. As anyone with a functional brain can see is that this focus's only on the elderly. Less than 15,000 people in the US have died under 55 WITH Covid, not OF covid. Another important factor you and the Bro's like to forget.

I've seen it usually depends on the clientele. I visited a coffee shop yesterday and the mask adherence was 95% (and worn properly) by all staff and customers inside. It was refreshing. This is a place that skews younger (but plenty of older professional types/church goers) visit as well. Ironically enough one of the two people I was meeting strolled right into the shop without a mask and then proceeded to tell me about how a Chinese lady he knows said the virus is man-made by her country. Needless to say we sat outside and I didn't get within 6' of him.

Nice, you found an appropriate chart. Now have someone interpret it correctly for you and you'll see exactly how your silly claim is shot down. HINT: using your own chart, the last two lines are about 100K---- as I stated. All the others left are the aprox. other 100K as I stated. Seeing a pattern here? Take your diversionary drivel about shutdowns, masks and France back to gateway pundit, just don't make foolish claims with no evidence expecting to be unquestioned, and then embarrass yourself by doubling down.... apparently that's what we have a WH for.

Man, someone is crying in their oatmeal. Take a breath. It’s ok to be wrong. It will alright. The charts are the charts. Sorry you don’t like them. Anyone under 55 has about zero concern with regard to Covid. Sorry that’s just the facts. How’s England doing by the way? They ready to shut down also? Sorry the Bro’s are upset that schools opened and cases didn’t blow up like they said and sorry football is back even though the Coronabros said that would never happen. Tough day for you guys. Maybe an uptick will happen to brighten your day...
