Wow. I'm sorry that better information acquisition techniques didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. Tissue?

Ps there are almost 5 million registered republicans in California. More than most red states.

Wow, settle down. I’m sorry the charts didn’t listen to you. I’ll talk to them or maybe we can just change them to fit your narrative. Keep showing “peer reviewed science” and I can keep throwing chart after chart refuting it. Good luck

So less than half on registered Dems? Thanks for winning me the argument. What’s next?

The fact that you think cherry picked charts to say what you want to say is a good answer to actual peer reviewed scientific analysis says all that is needed. Thanks for winning the argument for me.

I was waiting for the “cherry picked charts” routine. Thanks for accepting defeat. Once you brought that up I knew you acknowledged you lost.

Do you honestly believe that the only change made when cases went up was the mask mandate? Zero other variables at play? That’s your honest belief? From those charts with one single variable listed we can conclude masks increase the spread. That’s your conclusion, right? You stand by that?

I think the issue here is that Gator95 doesn't know that California has 18 million more people than Florida does.

Again, you don't understand that some states have more people than others. California is 24th in cases per million and 26th in deaths per million. So Calli is about average, and well better than Florida.

Thanks, didn’t know California was bigger than Florida. I thought all the states were the same size...

Death Toll From Covid-19 Pandemic Extends Far Beyond Virus Victims

Researchers are finding growing evidence that the Covid-19 pandemic’s deadly reach is stretching far beyond people who died from coronavirus infections.

From Alzheimer’s disease deaths to fatal heart attacks, federal data show deaths in 2020 have exceeded those of previous years in numerous categories. Doctors and health researchers say the fatalities reflect the ways the pandemic has amplified stress and financial strain while causing many people to avoid hospitals for fear of infections.
    …………………..…………………………….

The CDC estimates there were somewhere between about 202,000 and 263,000 excess deaths in the U.S. this year through late August, measured against deaths from 2017 through 2019. The U.S. by that point had about 188,000 known Covid-19 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins. In New York City, the citywide death count surged by 35,000 in the most recent fiscal year, far exceeding the 19,142 confirmed and 4,625 probable virus-related deaths, authorities said Thursday.

Yep. The US and officials panicking about this virus caused that. CDC, WHO and Trump blew it big time. Terrible job by all.

I know, and you're welcome. And now you know that to actually compare states you have to look at the per capita numbers. California has done much better than Florida has.

not panicking, reacting to high viral loads in community and fear of how it impacts people with no rhyme or reason. see post from prgator. Healthy wife now in hospital fighting for life. your inability to understand or admit the reality that covid is really bad chit is mind boggling. really not sure if youa re just trolling at this point as not likely that anybody not named Trump can be that obtuse

don't discount how bad the trumpeteers and their anti-mask, hoax mentality blew it too

And a lot of the additional excess deaths may well be covid-related too. Heart attacks? Strokes? Both known covid-related outcomes. And I'd like to see the numbers for accidental deaths. I'd guess they are well less than normal.
