Looks like six of the fatalities have occurred w/in the Maplecrest Rehabilitation and Living Center in Madison, Maine. This illustrates the danger of the virus due to its spread rate. With schools opening up, we will likely see more and more of this. Imagine, one child goes to school w the virus. They spread it to 10 children in their primary classroom and two staff members. Each of those individuals go home and spread it to two more people, who spread it to more people. Among those dozens of newly infected is one or more health care providers, who bring it to a facility. And here we go . . . more fatalities.

Another potential superspreader event? Trump's MAGA rally in Henderson, NV. Note the masks and social distancing (or more accurately, lack thereof).

Also looks like around one-third or so are in the high risk age group.

Photos of the March on Washington. Looks to me like most of them are wearing masks even if not social distancing.

They conveniently cut the part where he passed out and died immediately after. These masks are real killers.

Trump claiming Redfield told him he was wrong about masks. Redfield came out and said he wasn't. Wonder how much longer Redfield will be in place

Check out this article from USA TODAY:

Opinion: Big Ten's decision to play football signals darkest day in conference's sports history

Big Ten football decision marks darkest day in conference's history

This is quite possibly the dumbest article I have ever read in USAToday in the 30+ years I’ve been reading the paper. Brennan might want to read up on Sandusky and Nassar just to name 2 much darker clouds over the Big Ten.

holding death rates tells me the number of new cases is dropping, or at least staying stable, less cases to divide deaths into means stabilization or maybe if cases drop a minimal rise, still, imo, good news.

My prediction, (made about 8 weeks ago) was 300K dead by Jan 1st and I seem to be on target. Probably low in the estimate.

Any of you Pubs want to take this on? I recall you laughing about this prediction.
