I wonder how many of those inconsiderate people just got effected and took that flu like virus home to family and friends? On top of that it's being held at a church, what was they thinking they know the covid it attracted to church's. They should have rented a walmart since they've been proven to be safer
Why would you be required to take a rapid test the day before you go to work? Rapid test results should be available within 15 minutes so you should take the test the day you go into work. And if you were taking the test the day you go into work, why would you need 2 days off after working just 1 day?
So if they're effected it gives them time to find a replacement. It depends how many hours they're working
More from the AJC on this gathering of Mensa: Georgia camp outbreak shows rapid virus spread among children Three-quarters of the 344 attendees and staff for whom the CDC was able to obtain test results tested positive for the virus. The YMCA did not make anyone available for an interview. In a written statement, Parrish Underwood, chief advancement officer for the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, said the organization now regretted holding the camp.
notice how this is being completely overlooked and not discussed Now put kids in a closed environment 8 hrs a day 5 days a week. Compliance will go out the window by day 3 or 4.
Not even. Junior High in Indiana has kid test positive day 1 after he’d been in school for half the day. A School Reopens, and the Coronavirus Creeps In
The blue state vs red state Talking points were made frequently back in the spring. Now the same points have shifted to comparing death rates from the spring in blue states to the death rates now. Utterly disgraceful then and now there is support that it was a political strategy. We can’t get rid of these scum fast enough
TWiV 640: Test often, fast turnaround, with Michael Mina | This Week in Virology This is how we beat this thing. Cheap, crappy and fast testing. 30 billion dollars gives every American a 90 supply of everyday tests. We don't need to know who has it; we need to know who is infectious. For that, we don't need extra sensitive tests that see if there is any COVID or COVID remnants in the body, we need tests that detect large amounts, the amount required to pass the disease on so those people can know to self-isolate for the relatively small amount of time they are infectious. Aside from political contributions, I don't get involved in public stuff anymore. But I've written both senators and my congressman asking that this program be fast-tracked. The technology to both detect the virus and print the tests already exists. We just need to change our way of thinking about the disease away from who has it to who can spread it.
Because one has nothing to do with the other. Schools aren’t sleep away camps where they pack 12-20 kids in a small rooms. Unless you are in a boarding school... Stop using scare tactics it’s a little embarrassing.
What are you talking about? 12-20 kids in small rooms would describe every classroom I've ever been in until college, and even then you wouldn't have had room for a full class... you'd have had to cut the classes in half.
Who knew masks could help contain a contagious disease? oh wait, everyone knows. Just too self centered to wear one.
