NBER? Seriously? Do you have anything that might be considered remotely non-partisan?

I think you need to keep repeating it. Doesn't seem like you have gotten the jest of it yet

Went into Jos A. Bank this afternoon to pick up a suit and a couple of ties today. Manager told me that they were notified today that all but two stores in Florida would be closing in about two weeks permanently. Part of a nationwide reduction. I asked about Men's Wearhouse and he said that they were expecting a major reduction there as well.

Unfortunately, this is only the beginning of the realization of the long term economic damage done by government mandated shutdowns.

You are misstating the findings of the study. The study notes inflammation and "the need for continued investigation". Doesn't state a finding of long term damage.

With this kind of poetic license you could most assuredly obtain a high paying position in the MSM.

good heavens, what did i misstate? I said holy cow if confirmed by other studies and purposely didn’t state it was permanent damage for the specific reason you stated. That’s poetic license?

I mean I get folks don’t want potential bad news, but if you are going to attack the messenger at least do it accurately, or accept the irony of attacking what you think is misinformation with your own misinformation.

    but time for bed.

middle three work for me, especially if you have a second one from the opposite side of the middle one that covers the same topic. I prefer Reuters, FT, WSJ, AP, Newsweek, Forbes, and Bloomberg myself. Politico seems further left than the chart shows and NY post seems further right than shown. jmo but thanks for the graphic. What is the source of the graphic?

I get the idea, you might have made assumptions on what Orogator stated. I certainly read it as qualified by the "if confirmed by further studies".

The death rate per reported case continues to drop but the rate of drop has slowed in the last 2 days.

The rate of drop slowing makes sense to me. My understanding was that it was dropping because we were getting better at treatment and more young people were contracting covid but I would think those two would only get you so far.
It’s a good trend and I hope it continues to improve but I would guess that improvement would flatten out.
