Having spent a lifetime of dealing with guys like him, I've personally witnessed and experienced the fraudfests thousands and thousands of times. The prime directive of RE fraud is to gain control of information, manufacture/distort information, and attack with projection and belligerence. RE fraud 101. We in the industry all freaking know it. That the general public refuses to realize that tells us all what we need to know about them. The next time they so much as take a breath of air in a RE classroom, maybe we can have a rational conversation. BUT NO! He "tells it like it is" Good Freaking Gawd.

Last I looked, S. Korea was a western style democracy. If they can make the sacrifices to save lives, so could we. But that would've required real leadership to take a real look at what we were doing wrong, everything S. Korea was doing right, and being the country together for a common goal.

We've sacrificed as a country before. See WW II. We've had leaders before who asked not what the country can do for you, but what you can do for the country. And what did we get with Trump?

It's a hoax. It will magically disappear. People should liberate their state. "I take no responsibility." He'll defund schools that don't reopen....

Pass the blame all you want to try, but the President is the highest office in the land. The buck is supposed to stop at his desk.

I find this far more pathetic than humorous. Indeed, I don't find it humorous at all.

    And yes, it's true.

The state stance is masks are encouraged but not required

Georgia governor overrides all local mask orders in the state

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) is prohibiting local municipalities across the state from mandating that masks be worn in public to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.

Kemp's executive order issued Wednesday prevents local governments from enforcing mandatory face covering orders that are more restrictive than the current statewide order. The move effectively voided orders issued by at least 15 local governments across the state, according to The Associated Press.

Igniting the base by doubling down on that which makes things worse. As death rates rise, people like Kemp have blood on their hands.

Georgia bans cities and counties from requiring masks
Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp issued an executive order Wednesday night, which outright banned cities and counties in the state from issuing mask orders to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The move, despite neighboring states like Alabama requiring masks in public, voided mask mandates in 15 local jurisdictions in the Peach State where they had been implemented.

His only consistent intellectual approach to this is to defend the national response to the Pandemic and he will make any argument in support if that- no matter how inconsistent with other arguments. This one shifts the blame for the disease spread and current increase in deaths to Americans and others. Instead of the national policy to close down too late and too briefly, to reopen too early and while there were too many cases, inadequate testing and PPE, to oppose mandating masks, and to permit social and business gatherings that promote disease spread. The Talking points think that these policies promote economic growth, when it is the exact opposite long term. Despite advance warning, this government failed to pay attention or prepare and have now doubled down in its incompetence because of a view that Trump cannot get re-elected unless he treats the pandemic as if it has been defeated and all is good. The deaths are just an acceptable consequence for them. But since they can’t say it, they just go from one talking point to another. In this case, they are trying to justify why South Korea handled the virus and reopened while we are failing. The simple answer is that South Korea followed the US pandemic playbook. We didn’t. What they did worked. Now, the administration is trying to control the information that gets out because it is not good for Trump’s re-election chances.

Texas and Arizona just started moving in refrigerated trucks to store all the deceased as morgues overflow; we can't be far behind...

Arizona and Texas counties hit hard by coronavirus bring in refrigerated trucks as morgues fill up
By Faith Karimi and Steve Almasy, CNN
Updated 8:51 AM ET, Thu July 16, 2020

(CNN)With skyrocketing coronavirus hospitalizations in several states, hard-hit counties in Arizona and Texas are preparing for the worst by bringing in refrigerated trucks as morgues fill up. The US coronavirus outbreak hit nearly 3.5 million total infections Thursday morning and more than 137,000 reported deaths, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

Thirty-nine states reported an increase in the number of new cases from the week before. California, Florida, Arizona and Texas have become the states to watch as surging coronavirus cases lead to a shortage of hospital beds.

I think if it is less than 1000 refrigerated trucks, we can count that as a win.
