Uh dude, we all know Democrats like strong central authority. Most Republicans have been screaming about it for years.

Yeah, man. All 7 of those unfortunate kids who died. Clearly, that makes the chance of death for kids from this thing greater than 0.000001%. I mean, it's gotta be 0.0000033% or something like that, right? Thank you, for setting the record straight for all of us. We wouldn't want to get the wrong impression that this thing has basically a 0 death rate with children.

not to mention the parents and grandparents that the kids will infect. some people just refuse to acknowledge the facts and continmue to parrot that death is the only adverse impact from having covid as if nothing else matters. If you don't die there is no negative impacts to these people..smdh

as long as it isn't your kid right? what about all the adults in and out of school that the kids will come into contact with and infect? Do their lives matter?

So now I'm not supposed to send my kids to school if 7 out of the 56.6 million school students in the U.S. die from something? Statements like those illustrate exactly what we're talking about with the panic. The rest of the post is just as ridiculous. So now we're supposed to sacrifice our children's futures so that some adults don't get sick? Again, if you're under 54, with no pre-conditions, your chances of dying from Covid-19 are very close to nil. Should I just never let my kids leave the house ever again? I mean, ya never know, right? How do you live that way?

do you care about all of the adults that will come into contact with the kids that will spread the virus once they get infected at school?

do you think death is the only negative impact of being infected?

suck it up. nobody is drafting you to go to Vietnam or storm the beaches of Normandy. Wear your mask, take care of your kids. Quit trying to put others at risk for your convenience.

we leave the house all the time, kids included, but we control our exposure. If you have a problem with the restrictions you can thank POTUS and others like you who refuse to do what is necessary to put this genie back in the bottle. You, and others like you, have created this problem and now expect others to sacrifice for the problem you created. Tired of it.

First, it will more more than 7 dead kids. Seven is the current number of kids, aged 5-14, that have died from COVID, over the summer, when no school was in session. School exposure will be exponentially higher than summer exposure. There are also kids aged 15-18/19 that are still in school. Their death rates are still small, but higher than the younger kids.

And how many teachers, administrators, support staff, etc, fall into the adult with a comorbidity that should worry about getting COVID-19? Can a school really be effective with just 75% of its full time faculty? Just how effective are substitute teachers? And again what happens when someone in a class tests positive? What's the protocol?

Knowing it will be more than 7 kids dead, and more than 7 adults dead, I ask again, what is an acceptable causality rate, per 1000 kids and 1000 adults that work at a school are you willing to accept to keep schools open? If you answer is any more than zero, please do me a favor and never utter the phrase, "All lives matter," ever again!

And just for the record no where in the article did it say that the patient was intubated. Not all covid patients, even those with in very serious condition are intubated.

Is death the only negative impact to you? Do weeks of suffering and separation from your family while fearing for your life matter?
