I agree. They are free to wear those masks and their employers are free to fire them. It has to work both ways.

Some want to bring attention to themselves and/or sue. Many reasons i'm sure for disregarding company policy.

 

Multiple studies show effectiveness of mask wearing. Number of cases in multiple states are growing, including Arizona, which had its first ever day of over 3,000 positive tests yesterday. There is no good reason not to wear a mask, unless you don't want to slow the spread and don't want the potentially save thousands of lives.

 

I find it ironic that trump followers bitch about wearing masks and not doing so will only prolong this and continue to impact the economy.
Not wearing a mask hurts trump’s chances and trump is encourages not wearing masks. Odd.

 

i think it is well known my position on mask wearing, that being said, like not wearing anything on masks by employees, if asked to wear a mask in a store i will obide by the rules, even if i do not agree with them, that it what civilized people do.

I am no expert, and I am a bit horrified at the extent of presidential and federal authority during declared Emergencies, but even without the emergency declaration the federal government can enforce this if I am understanding it correctly.

According to this review of the relevant rule, even without a declared emergency, under the Public Health Service Act of 1944 the Secretary of HHS hold tremendous powers in the face of a public health emergency.

wonder how many non mask wearers are not trump supporters, or do people only care about trump supporters, and it's ok if you are anti-trump because i am sure a awfull lot of non trumpers do not wear masks, but hey, they are anti-trump so it's ok.

 

Probably some, but he pushes against wearing them and a lot of his supporters are lemmings that will do what he suggests. Mask wearing/science has become political.
It is just ironic that his supporters are doing what they can to make sure he doesn't get re-elected.

you missed my point, many people assume the only ones not wearing masks are trump supporters, just saying lots of anti-trump supporters also do not wear masks, nothing more, nothing less.

 

Including our governor here in NC during his 100 ft "march" with protesters or most of his press conferences in crowded rooms.
