People will rightfully question your credibility when your sentence states " die by covid, die by flu" and then your comparing to "struck by lightening"? If the point was so weak to start, you know you've already lost.

Weak? Only thing weak I see is a lot of posters reading comprehension. Nobody is worried about being struck by lightning, just like no one under 24 should be worried about dying from Covid-19. My son is back in travel baseball for 3 weeks now and has a tourney next week. Have zero concerns about Covid-19. Much higher chance of dying in a car accident on the way there than any chance of him getting and dying from Covid-19. Not sure why this is so hard to understand.

While I agree with you, it seems like you just copy and pasted Clay Travis's tweet this morning. The Body Mass Index (BMI) scale should not be used for athletes or even offensive lineman. They have substantially greater muscle mass and way better endurance than your average person. College athletes I would assume would be among the lowest risks populations. Now the average Georgia fan...

for young people the issue isn’t The risk of dying It’s the risk of spreading. See the Lovett School article I posted above. One covid positive kid has become 100 cases in a week and still growing.

That's not what the article in USAToday was about. It was about OL being more at risk for COVID-19 since they are obese per the BMI scale.

Since there has been talk of college football players in the last couple of pages, I don't think there's any doubt that at least 1 team will have a player or coach test positive for covid-19 in the fall. Then what do you do? Quarantine the whole team for 2 weeks? That cancels 2 games. What if numerous teams have players test positive? That creates a lot of chaos. I don't see how we get through this season without seeing a lot of canceled games at best and a canceled season at worst.

I believe College Football will follow the EPL. They require just the person who's positive to isolate for 7 days without symptoms before rejoining the team.

I wasn’t referring to the article, I was referring to your prior post that no one under 24 should worry about dying.

FWI, a month ago the positive test % was 17% nationwide, it is down to 10.8%, we are, imo, really winning the war against this

They will get applauded by some posters here. They were not afraid and they are in a low risk group, right?

So, they did what they wanted. This is exactly what some posters here are saying they do.
    Link says:

One concerned parent told DailyMail.com he fears this cluster will now escalate and become a 'huge issue' as schools start reopening and seniors go off to college.

'They clearly disregarded social distancing. Not only did they get it, they gave it to their parents and their neighborhoods,' he said.

'It's not going to be isolated. The kids were together for 48 hours. Kids cross populate. It's a very interconnected neighborhood.'

I got a “come on man” for posting that cases in Georgia had risen. Some people don’t deal well with facts.

Cases are rising in quite a few states. And they will likely continue to rise. I know here in Texas the bars are open again and people are passing the virus around more.

Georgia has been rising and we just opened bars back up. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse.

You could have mentioned any of the 28 states. Wisconsin, which opened up because of a court order. Alabama (Montgomery is running out of ICU beds). Arkansas.

    Leave Georgia alone.
