I assure you the numbers are not BETTER. And given that people with experience and expertise say it's likely worse, it's likely worse. Any partisan bullshit rhetoric isn't going to change that.

Explain to me how the actual numbers show anything other than the floor of the spread. You can use math, charts and/or logic. Use your typical self-indulgent sophistry at your own peril.

Nothing to worry about. The number of cases won’t cross 1000.

Here is what Chicago O'Hare looked like with Americans trying to get back into the country. This will cause spread. Apparently all the major international airports looked the same last night as people scrambled to get home and there wasn't an appropriate plan to deal with the issue.

Not surprised, everything the TA does is for show. No thought or substance.

Its all about the ratings and number of likes.

Is ANYONE dumber then Devin Nunes? He made no sense the whole interview. He starts off his comments by downplaying the virus danger (tells people to stop panicking - jokes about toilet paper) then he shifts into blaming China for "downplaying" the virus danger- his exact word. The inconsistency is dizzying. Then he talks about a mysterious investigation by the house republicans on China and then babbles about them being inefficient.

Americans are 'going to have to hunker down significantly more' to fight coronavirus
"I think we should really be overly aggressive and get criticized for over-reacting," Fauci said

@citygator then we have Dr. Fauci to compare Nunes to. Makes him look even more foolish. Hard to believe any political leader can be as dumb as Nunes at this point...not to mention, willing to go on tv to prove it.

It isn't going away. Slow it down so the medical doesn't get overwhelmed. Once 60% plus have had it herd immunity effect starts kicking in and reduces spread. Hopefully it doesn't mutate past the point that previous infection stops reinfection

Trump says, let's be ignorant to keep the numbers down. And his base assumes that the numbers we have based on minimal testing are the extent of the problem.

BTW: did trump tell you, his obedient followers, that he loves you?

More accurately, this is a pneumonia. A lower respiratory virus.

It baffles me that there are a few on here that continue to play things down and or argue petty points or make bad comparisons. Seems they either truly believe their nonsense or they are arguing for arguments sake.

Goldman Sachs is now predicting Q2 GDP will be negative 5% or more due to the Coronavirus and Q1 GDP will be close to zero or even worse. The Fed's GDP now tool had Q1 showing a 3% number just a few weeks ago.
