When people make misleading statements, it is important to clarify, if not for them, then for those following along at home.

All of the above. It is willful ignorance, the facts do not fit the narrative so you ignore the facts. Willful ignorance.

but think how much work they would have created. morticians, grave diggers, accountants, lawyers...and how much money would have been wastefully spent by some of those who received large inheritances. just putting the money into circulation...

If you think that all these people are ignorant or getting crappy info, how do you know the same isn’t happening to you?

    both can
    give you fever
    make you cough
    have chills
    etc

the fact that one is much more contagious and much more deadly than the other doesn't seem to matter

Did you guys know that rabbits and Ebola both contain genetic material made of nucleic acids? In that sense, rabbits are basically just fluffier Ebola.

The actual CDC link for those that would rather not give Fox News clicks.

    Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) - Transmission

    The full quote

It doesn't sound like a waste of time to me. At most it would take 2 people about half an hour to wipe down about $500 worth of Costco groceries.

Also in the same link they still recommend wiping down frequently touched surfaces (which obviously don't include groceries but apparently surfaces are still believed to transmit the virus).

I can if you'd like me to. For the record I can't stand CNN or MSNBC either.

I was mocking another poster who constantly takes swipes at conservatives. All the info were receiving whether it's regarding the Covid, Trump even the weather etc we choose to believe that source or not. Every single news source puts it's own spin and opinion in their story, so I'm sure there's crappy or false info in every piece to a point. I know several on here claim that BreitBart, Gateway and others are wrong or horrible sources for info, that's just an opinion and a lame excuse not to respond, look at how many times cnn, new York times, Washington Post and other had to change their stories over last few years, just as much or more as those conservative sites I mentioned.

Maybe just wash your hands after handling the groceries. Sounds like its a very unlikely way of getting it. Somebody would have to sneeze on your groceries, or touch them after sneezing on their hands, put them back on the shelf before you grabbed them and took them home. Then you would have to touch where they touched and then touch your face, and it would have to be enough viral load to infect you.

I wipe mine down because my 72 year old mother in law lives with me, I have an abundance of lysol wipes, and my wife requests it. If you don't have the time or resources to wipe them down then just do your best (like you said just wash your hands). The thing with frozen food and refrigerated food is the cold can preserve the virus so in my opinion it's just easier to wipe them once and be done with it. Things like fruit and some vegetables you can just wash with soap and water. Non-refrigerated stuff can just sit for a few days and the virus will die.

And I never said it wasn't more deadly and for now it is, and of course it's more contagious now, but remember the flu has been here over 100 years, in a few years like the other virus it won't be as bad. There's no way to know for sure at this time if it will have more long term problems. And caused a ridiculous overaction by many
    All this a fact
