A long read, but totally worth it. The case studies on how the virus spread are fascinating.

Me too but mine is from working in hospitals for 33 years.
My wife always remarks on how I never get sick. Since we had kids they family has had the flu no less than 3 times.(I do the test to prove it). I haven't once so much gotten a sniffle. (Never had the Flu shot either)

    Interesting read TY.

    I found this interesting.....

"Unlike sneezing and coughing which release huge amounts of viral material, the respiratory droplets released from breathing only contain low levels of virus. We don't have a number for SARS-CoV2 yet, but we can use influenza as a guide. We know that a person infected with influenza releases about 3 - 20 virus RNA copies per minute of breathing.

Remember the formulae: Successful Infection = Exposure to Virus x Time"

But with general breathing, 20 copies per minute into the environment, even if every virus ended up in your lungs, you would need 1000 copies divided by 20 copies per minute = 50 minutes."

The case study of the South Korean office was a great example of this. Brief contact, like shopping, isn't that big of a deal, but spending all day in an office with someone infected is a killer.

One person in that office came into work sick, and all those blue seats are people that got infected by that one person. Most of them just from that one person breathing all day.

Yeah I was using my "medicine" when I watched it. I knew nothing about the video or her. After watching I did some research on her the next day, it was actually comforting to find out that she was pretty much full of sh't and trying to promote a book.

It's really depressing how many times I've seen her video posted along with comments by people who actually believe her. It just plays into their gullible minds - the virus isn't a big deal, it's a conspiracy, the death total has been faked, we don't need masks, we need to fire Fauci ....

It makes total logical sense..... Severity of exposure with time of exposure.

More proof that going to the beach is an unlikely way to catch this bug.

Oklahoma fights back. After briefly gaining the lead in freedom fighting by threatening to shoot somebody over coronavirus store requirements, then losing the lead to Michigan (where someone actually shot someone else for requiring a face mask to be worn), Oklahoma has taken back the top spot with a shooting at McDonalds. The dining area was closed, so someone (or three) had to be shot.

A Woman Who Opened Fire in a McDonald's After Getting Angry About Coronavirus Restrictions Is in Custody: Authorities

    No response yet from Michigan.

How were you able to get out of flu shots and work in a hospital? Most of them i worked in required a flu shot.

My wife is a COTA (she hasn't worked the job for a while though) and she was told to either get the shot or she'd have to wear a mask all day.

A lot of people said Georgia would be a disaster opening up early. Doesn’t look that way so far after 2 weeks. Need more time for sure to get a better take on the numbers though.
