Disappointing. Exasperating. Cherry picking is exactly what Dr. Birx shouldn't be doing ever. Sullies her stellar reputation as a scientist. This is twice now that she's blown it. No doubt this is the perverse influence of an amoral & unhinged president.

Some Governors and Mayors are calling out the President to provide the tests...The president lies about testing capacity everyday. To intentionally lie should be illegal.

There really needs to be 4 groups. Centrist pubs and centrist dems.
I would be a centrist pub with abortion being my sticking point. I can get on board with healthcare and dont care who the state says is married as long as they dont tell my church who it has to officially marry. I am for better gun control. Abortion is the one that I wont concede and will always vote with that in mind.

Do you expect or hope that Roe v Wade will be overturned?

Short of that decision being overturned, what does the current pub party do to earn your vote?

No. I dont anticipate an overturn of RvW...though I would applaud it with stipulations.

I am more concerned with the ease of access and wastefulness of human life.
I can't fathom a parent supporting a candidate that thinks their 13 year old should be allowed to go get an abortion without parental notification.

As for the current pub party, I think the judicial side is key. I like the judicial nominations.

I am stuck in a weird position as a pro-life, anti-death penalty (with very extreme exceptions like OBL), pro gun control (some assault bans and better background checking), pro universal healthcare (but not the loophole filled version we have now).

I want a Reaganesque candidate (leadership and character wise) that envelopes these traits.

I also know it will never happen.

What a pathetic and embarrassing representation of leadership. Our president, who should be offering a voice of reason and reassurance, continues to politicize the tragedy. He opens by pointing to higher rates of death in other countries. He's intent on competing by showing (practically celebrating) how many people have died in other parts of the world. How on earth is that humanitarian, let alone diplomatic or even mature? He literally said that "there are very positive trends for winning." What the hell is this, a fifth grade kickball game?

He touted Spain's high death rates and blamed the media for not reporting it. Then on China . . . "they're way ahead of us, in terms of death." YES! I'm so happy to hear this. I mean, who doesn't want to celebrate all the deaths in China? His only non-written contributions are inane asides and swipes at his adversaries. Then he complains about ventilators and testing. He should be stating what his administration is doing to support hospitals and medical professionals. Instead, he bitches about the media and how they have switched from complaining about ventilators to complaining about testing.

This is not how a leader communicates. I know it's been documented and said over and over and over. I have, for the most part, refrained from Trump bashing. I have more important concerns. This presser, though, is yet another exasperating moment of WTFism regarding this president. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH this country? How did we appoint this subhuman to be our nation's leader? I don't know what else to say . . . just unbelievable.

thanks for the synopsis. I don't waste my time listening to him anymore, I can learn more talking to my dog, at least she looks guilty when she does something wrong. This POTUS honestly believes he never does anything wrong. He is not credible nor stable. Press would do us all a big favor by refusing to show his propaganda show anymore
