We didn’t really get an answer. Said they states would have testing before they open.

He neglected to mention Predict, our program that operated in Wuhan because of the lab there because of China’s labs there. He just lies and says that no one thought this could happen. Obama did, which is why Predict was based in Wuhan. Trump closed it. Have to shut down Obama programs and Trump devalued the program. He just tried to shift the blame with his whining that we are a victim. Trump passed the buck. Incompetent to cancel Predict. Because guess what: this was predictable.

Can someone explain where the governors are going to get the tests? Are the going to get them the same place the get outbid for N95 masks? This is lunacy.

The biggest load a crap in this whole thing is laying the testing on the states. The flow of testing materials has to be created by the federal government in order for the states to run a testing operation.

He’s deflecting to an answer of who will conduct the tests because he’s got no answer for when the feds can get the needed tests to the states.

Until the test production, and lab capacity, gets built with federal support, this goes nowhere.

The reporters know it. We know it. His experts know it. He won’t answer when that will be.

They are going to open up a dozen states with 8 percent of the population and declare victory on this squabble. Wyoming, Idaho, Montana etc

Edit - That’s just my opinion. He didn’t read a list of small red states. I’d have had fun with it if he did.

 

Technically, I think 6 states, including Arkansas for sure never closed to begin with.
