Go on the hike and enjoy yourself. My wife, kids and myself just got back from Georgia and Tennessee. We went I hikes and driving tours, had very little interaction with others besides other families passing on the hikes. W e had a good time

 

Trump didn't act to prevent the generals from taking early measures. They didn't ask. The captain of the Roosevelt didn't have that luxury after command made poor decision to authorize shore leave and ship became infected and his requests to evac the ship were denied. The mental gymnastics required to try and equate the 2 are impressive

Surrounding myself with nature is a physical need for me. Unless I do it frequently I get cranky, irritable, and highly irregular. From your posts I know you were in some pretty spots just down the road from me. Although things have changed (our county health just erected signs saying that part-timer residents should self quarantine themselves) I will most likely be going - assuming the flack from the other end of the couch is tolerable.
Edit: also part time residents should bring enough food and supplies to last 2 weeks because they aren’t allowed in our WalMart.

My wife has been sick for awhile(not from the virus) and she loves the mountains, so I took her and the family where she seems to be the happiest. Like you I love the being in nature.

 

Captain should have not been relieved. Political appointees who refused his request to vacate the ship to protect his crew based on political considerations should have been relieved

Agreed. Sorta like the difference between looking at nekid pictures or experiencing the real thing.

My personal favorite is katmai cam but only good for June - August when the salmon are running. Been there 2x before and actually recognize some of the bears

Still have our trip booked for June for Alaska with fingers crossed. Hope to do a 2 night fishing trip out of Seward and some good hikes. See lots of wildlife on fishing trips. Have seen whales bubble net feeding 2x while out halibut fishing

I don’t see anything wrong or selfish about hiking alone. The car accident on the way is a stretch. What about people driving to grocery store every week for food when their pantry isn’t empty? Or eating the same amount of food as they always have? Should they cut way back to lose a few pounds and minimize store runs.
CDC says exercising alone is good.

 

Trump just said that there is a lower incidence of COVID19 in Lupus patients than others because of the drugs. Fact checking him, of course.
