Thankfully history explains this quite easily. I know you are smart enough to understand why. Are you honest enough to say it?

Back to the topic of the thread. The new Covid is spreading primarily in the western U.S., but also in parts of the South (Virginia and North Carolina specifically).

CDC says COVID wastewater levels are ‘very high’ in VA and NC

California has it's strongest Covid outbreak since 2022.

This is now California's worst summer COVID wave in years. Here's why

I did everything in my power to bring these inconsistencies and lies to the good people here, but not many listened.

I especially knew about all the dissenting doctors like Dr. Robert Malone, because those were the doctors that I was listening to, and the honest doctors that the MSN were censoring... Not only that, but I had to use several creative means to get the information that Google and Microsoft tried to block. It took some effort to get those interview videos. Everything in the article is VERY CLOSE TO THE WAY I REMEMBER IT.

    Thanks for the link, duggers.

A report later revealed that military leaders had seen Covid as a unique opportunity to test propaganda techniques on the public, “shaping” and “exploiting” information to bolster support for government mandates. Dissenting scientists were silenced. Government psyops teams deployed fear campaigns on their own people in a scorched-earth campaign to drive consent for lockdowns.

Moreover, as a study by Cardiff University demonstrated, the primary factor by which citizens judged the threat of COVID-19 was their own government’s decision to employ lockdown measures. “We found that people judge the severity of the COVID-19 threat based on the fact the government imposed a lockdown—in other words, they thought, ‘It must be bad if government’s taking such drastic measures.’ We also found that the more they judged the risk in this way, the more they supported lockdown.” The policies thus created a feedback loop in which the lockdowns and mandates themselves sowed the fear that made citizens believe their risk of dying from COVID-19 was hundreds of times greater than it really was, in turn causing them to support more lockdowns and mandates.

Those who publicly spoke against lockdowns and mandates were ostracized and vilified—denounced by mainstream outlets like the New York Times, CNN, and health officials as “neo-Nazis” and “white nationalists.” Further, among those who really believed the mainstream Covid narrative—or merely pretended to—all the authoritarian methods that had supposedly contributed to China’s “success” against Covid, including censoring, canceling, and firing of those who disagreed, were on the table.

I knew it was bogus as soon as I saw the claim that the mainstream media denounced anyone who spoke out against lockdowns and mandates. The NYT story it linked to is about protests in Germany:

Guess what? There were neo-Nazis protesting covid mandates and lockdowns in Germany.

I'm in Jacksonville and was just talking to two neighbors who said they're getting over it. He said when they went to the urgent care center to get tested, he was told that they'd been swamped with Covid.

Honestly I was organizing my linen closet and ran across a test. It was expired but I had what I thought was just a summer cold. I decided to test myself instead of just throwing it away.

So if I hadn’t run across the test I would never have known I had it.

Is the New York Times your ministry of Information, river?

One more thing... I do NOT need other people's articles to remind me what I lived through.

Rick, it was your article that brought up the New York Times. I pointed out what it actually said.
And what it clearly didn’t do was call everyone who opposed lockdowns and mandates a neo Nazi.

If you had LEGITIMATE information for people that you wanted to be taken seriously, you should have created a new account with a different username. That being said, I don't suspect you did.

My wife stocked up on Covid tests over two years ago. I suspect a lot if not most of them have expired by now. By the way all of us contracted Covid back in January 2023. My son contracted it at a New Year's eve party and gave it to the rest of us. For me the symptoms were similar to a bad cold. My son's symptoms were relatively minor and he continued going to work until he tested himself after which he isolated until the symptoms were gone.

How much money are we wasting?!

Got a cold. Let’s go to the urgent care and give them $100 so we can be told to go home rest and take Tylenol until you feel better.

Now don’t get me wrong. There is a time to go and get checked out. But for the vast majority of people. There is no reason to get checked out for a virus.
