We keep trying to explain things to idiots.

Btw, you report that you've had Covid twice. You have done far more damage to your heart and body than any Covid vaccine would likely ever cause. Not to mention, it kind of destroys your "natural immunity" claims.

Show me data that the shot is putting kids at risk, and the benefits do not outweigh the risks. If you can't do that, then please stop posting your misinformation backed by nothing but your own ignorance.

That's the thing, risk vs reward has been taken into account and the risk is extremely low for serious adverse events relative to the reward in preventing serious illness and death. Let's remember, you have been raging about myocarditis (and now SMI), yet young people are much more likely to develop myocarditis and other serious health issues from the virus than they are from the vaccine, which means the vaccine lowers their risk of of these health issues. Which is to also say, it's not stupid at all to get them vaccinated. It's reasonable and evidence based. What I don't understand is how you can look at a disease that has caused much more harm to children than the vaccine and then conclude that the vaccine is the problem and that everyone else is wrong and that public health folk need to be fired. Gotta say that to me, you have it all backwards.

    LOL!

I would have had covid twice. Please tell me that you are not dumb enough to believe the shot would have prevented me from getting covid? How many shots have you had and how many times have you had covid. LOL!!!

By the way...covid was hardly a cold presuming I had it.

You know the side effects and safety signals. You know they are at basically no risk. Please do not potentially harm them unnecessarily.

Here's a study that looked at COVID vaccination results for kids 5 - 11. Their findings:

In this systematic review and meta-analysis including 17 studies with 10 935 541 vaccinated and 2 635 251 unvaccinated children aged 5 to 11 years, COVID-19 vaccination was associated with lower risks of SARS-CoV-2 infection, symptomatic COVID-19, hospitalization, and multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children.
Can anyone explain why anyone wouldn't want to lower the risk of infection, symptomatic infection, hospitalization, and severe cases that lead to MIS-C? Anyone have any data that shows the risks outweigh these benefits?

This data represents the facts of what happened. Not people's opinions, but actual outcomes. This is the data speaking. If anyone has actual different data from peer reviewed, reputable sources, I'm happy to look at it. If not, your opinion based on nothing is just ignorance.

The shot provides no protection to the disease. Seriously none. The new booster gives you spike protection for a variant that is not longer around. There is no reason to cause unnecessary inflammation in your body. Especially at this point in 2023. But you know this as you will not be taking the booster.

Show your work with peer reviewed data, please. If that data doesn't exist, then your opinion is nothing more than unsubstantiated bullcrap. I've posted the data on vaccination 5 - 11. The benefits far outweigh the risks. If you have a study that shows otherwise, post it. If not, please explain why I should trust the opinion of an uneducated schmuck with no practical experience over the data and experts.

I'll be the person who follows the expert advise, data, and study results. I won't be the idiot that follows ignorance. Show me data that I'm putting my kids at risk, and that the benefits don't far outweigh the risks. If not, don't give me advice based on your own, unsubstantiated, uneducated opinions.

    A Hobson's Quiz :D

Which of the following is significantly more likely to cause inflammation?
    Covid or Covid

Which of the following is significantly more likely to cause other serious illness?
    Covid or Covid

Which of the following is significantly more likely to cause death?
    Covid or Covid

Which of the following is significantly more likely to reduce your risk of illness and/or death from Covid?
    Covid Vaccines or Covid Vaccines

IOW, Covid is the much greater risk for illness & death, even for those at low risk of dying. If Covid didn't cause these problems, then there would be no reason for the vaccine. But it does, hence, why a safe vaccine is the wise choice even when that vaccine has its own small risks and even where it's not 100% completely effective.

As I said. Don’t be the fool that listens to the idiots at the cdc. There is a reason no one is putting these shots in their kids. There is a reason the rest of the world is not putting these shots in their kids.

Please do not cause unnecessary potential harm!

The shot does not protect you from Covid. The disease is not that dangerous and we have treatments. Shoot we had treatments. But allowed big pharma to control the narrative with the idiots in public health.

The good news is you realize it is not wise to take the shot now! It is 2023! :)

Quite often it is the body’s immune response that can cause the damage. So logic would tell you that the vaccine immune responses may be of similar nature, but much less given the nature of the vaccine vs full blown infection.

I follow the data. Does me the data that the shot causes unnecessary harm. If you can't, you are simply talking out if your butt, and I will continue to tell you that is full of crap.

Don’t be the one guy who listens to the fools in charge. The rest of the world understands these shots should not be put in young people. That said. You take the shot and get Covid if you wish. Just don’t harm young people unnecessarily!

Vaccines can't cause the disease/s caused by the virus itself, though immune responses from vaccines can sometimes cause damage. The "much less" is imo the operative idea in the risk vs reward.

That’s my point, the vaccine is creating an immune response, a response somewhat similar to the actual disease, given the vaccine is made with components of the disease, so it isn’t shocking the body has an immune response (which is what you want) but in some people the immune response is stronger or even too strong. You could dilute the vaccine and get less immune response but it would be less effective also.

My point is if a disease itself can cause myocarditis, it would seem to be a feat to create an effective vaccine that causes zero cases of myocarditis.

Excellent point. I think it's an feat despite the risk not being zero. Pretty incredible under the circumstances.

This thread is the argument on Autism and vaccines all over again by the same nuts, just inserting some other ailment du jour.
