Speaking of Offit, he's now saying that healthy and young don't need to take another vaccine. What he's not saying is that they should never have gotten vaccinated in the first place or that he himself hasn't been vaccinated. The context changed and in his opinion healthy/young don't need another shot, provided that they have been vaccinated because he thinks the protections from earlier shots suffice.Yet, in 2021, in his own words, he also tried to convince parents to get their young children vaccinated and by April 2022, that he had been vaccinated three times.

Your position has been that young/healthy never even needed to be vaccinated and that people were stupid for doing so, and you were making these arguments at the height of the pandemic...when Offit was advocating the exact opposite of what you were arguing. So I would kindly suggest that maybe you try refraining from cherry picking what Offit has advocated since it more @ the appearance of now supporting your position.

Curious, but do you have evidence of what the vast majority of pediatricians are now recommending or what they were recommending at different points in the pandemic?

What's stupid? The positive COVID hospitalization rates between states is likely similar, meaning Florida is still leading in COVID hospitalizations? Or the fact the vaccine was fully tested and prevents hospitalizations? Give me some context on what you believe is stupid.

Or maybe you can't. Because, as you say, you can't fix stupid. And when you can't argue the facts, you simply resort to stupid statements?

At every step of the process public officials, both health and government, made mind-bogglingly stupid mistakes.

And there is no more limped excuse than “We couldn’t have known.”

Ex: we really couldn’t have known that lockdowns would would privilege the Amazons and Wal-Marts at the expense of the mom and pops ?

Stupid is someone thinking that someone in the hospital for a knee surgery that tests positive for covid is now a "covid hospitalization".

No way in #e!! anyone would have ever authorized the covid shot for a healthy young person if they understood medicine and public health.

This drug literally causes people to call in sick the following day. I know you think it is good that your body has inflammation that causes this side effect. But all so you can still get the disease. A disease that is of little to no risk to most. Therefore there was never a reason to authorize this drug to most.

I know you were duped. You may have been a high risk person that should have considered this drug originally. But now it is unnecessary. Not only for the low risk groups. But the high risk groups.

    From the article …

Informed consent died a grotesque death in the hospitals during COVID, and we need an autopsy. There was no information, and there was no consent, and without them, patients are reduced to helpless victims, exploited for corrupt financial gain and immoral experiments.

Me: And this really got my blood boiling …

But "no" is not an acceptable answer when the hospital has money at stake. The medical staff's preferred method for gaining "consent" was relentless bullying, screaming, coercion, and threats until the patient finally caved. Patti Lamar, Ray's widow, told me that when she refused to let them ventilate her husband, the doctors screamed at her over and over, "You're killing him! You're killing him! You're killing him!" When she couldn't take it anymore, she reluctantly gave in. Ray died shortly thereafter, and Patti lives with the trauma of that moment.

Me: The widow had every right to scream in the doctors faces, over and over, “You killed him! You killed him! You killed him!”

I have had a different position than Offit for young healthy people. That is medicine. And my position is arguably correct. In fact time has shown it to be.

And yes...there is plenty of evidence that pediatricians are not recommending young kids take the shot.

CDC COVID Data Tracker: Vaccinations in the US

It is clear that pediatricians like Paul Offit know and understand a child does not need one of these shots. And yes Offit originally said they should take one. But even if you look at the numbers when he was saying a child should take one it was clear that pediatricians were not recommending it...

CDC COVID Data Tracker: Vaccinations in the US

Offit was wrong at the beginning. He fell for the fear and the public health idiocy. But he now not only gets it for himself. But certainly for kids there is no way in heck he would tell a healthy child to touch one of these shots.

Covidians can take a jab a day if they want. Others should have a right to go for natural immunity.

"Love your country but never trust its government"...cant recall who said or wrote that or something like that.

OK. But that's not the statement I made. I said, using the article as proof, that Florida is leading with COVID hospitalizations. Even if X% of those hospitalizations were for other reasons and patients later tested positive with COVID, that doesn't change anything. Why? Because X% would be in this class in Florida, and X% would be in this same class in every other state. So unless you are arguing that those in the hospital for other reasons and later test positive for COVID only happens in Florida, or that COVID is never a reason for hospitalization, then my statement stands.

So does the statement that the vaccine was properly tested, with three trial phases. And that the vaccine prevents hospitalizations. No, the vaccine wouldn't have prevented someone with a physical injury who later tested positive from COVID from landing in the hospital, but it would have prevented a number of these hospitalizations, as the chart showing 18 and older hospitalizations versus vaccination status clearly shows.

There's also an unknown percentage of people who test positive for COVID in the hospital that may not have been hospitalized had they been negative. Obviously not those in for knee surgery. But there has been a rise in hospital visits due to the flu and RSV, both upper-respiratory infections. And when someone is fighting one of these on top of COVID, that puts a higher strain on the body. And likely leads to more hospitalizations.

Last, to the statement nobody would vaccinate children against COVID, that's simply false. Here's a list of all countries that approved the vaccine for kids. Maybe you can make the argument for kids under 12, only those at risk should get the shot. That's the policy in Sweden. But 12 and older, every data point shows a reduction in serious cases, hospitalizations and deaths among those fully vaccinated.

Again, the grift continues, but luckily only a few really dumb people still listen to people who think it was a good idea to lockdown, close schools, masking, against NI and vaxxing healthy kids. Anyone thinking any of those issues were the right move should rightfully be laughed at and ridiculed for being so naive. For example, look at the post above.

When one can’t admit they were wrong it’s zero use to engage them in a conversation. Until those who advocated for lockdowns, school closures, masks and vaxxing healthy kids admits they were 100% wrong then they should rightfully be ridiculed and called out repeatedly.

Zero use? More like zero ability. Florida currently leading in COVID hospitalizations and overall COVID hospital numbers are inflated due to those who test positive after being admitted for unrelated reasons are mutually exclusive. Both can be, and are true.

I have most of the antivax dopes blocked, but based on your reply, somebody is arguing that the FL surge of hospital Covid admissions is due to a FL only surge in hospitalizations for everything else? And this is something to brag about?

Florida is the second most aged state. Imagine Floridians being hospitalized for reasons other than rogue cellular debris with unvaccinated tracking capabilities.

Florida is also the third most populous state and has the second oldest population. You make it sound like we have the most COVID hospitalizations and yet have the 40th biggest population. Just by population alone Florida will always be in the top 3 for hospitalizations. What they shows is despite all the lockdowns, all the restrictions, in places like New York and California, the death and hospitalizations overall aren't that much different. The lockdowns did not work.

    To build on your point…

And this is a great watch. While it is about the harm of mRNA vaccines. And the fact they likely are…

The key line comes at the 1 hour 28 minute 55 second mark. Go 1 hour 27 minute to get some context. Dr. Fraiman is an ER doctor and the last person he has admitted for classical Covid to the hospital was in February of 2022. The media is peddling propaganda that a few here just can’t seem to understand.
