Simultaneous mass-casualty events in NYC and Northern Italy were hugely instrumental in bringing the world to its knees …

The symptoms of all upper respiratory infections are, in no particular order, sore throat, cough, stuff/running nose, shortness of breath, and sneezing. COVID is an upper respiratory infection. What new, unique symptoms should COVID come with? Growing another nose? Third nipple?

COVID actually does have some uncommon symptoms in some, including loss of smell and taste. There also seems to be a higher rate of heart incidents, but again, not the only virus that can cause myocarditis or even a heart attack.

Also, the most-vaccinated European countries are showing the highest excess mortality. Surmise: vaccines are deadly …

Fact check time. Cherry picking two data sets does not prove all Euro countries with higher excess mortality are also more vaccinated.

And I ask again, what new symptoms should a novel upper respiratory virus have? Growing a horn out of your forehead? Or do all upper respiratory diseases all have the exact same, basic symptoms?

You don’t have to cherry pick when it’s an avalanche.

And how can there be a novel virus when we’ve never had the first virus ?

Question: just pretend there are no viruses. What else could be happening when you cough, have runny nose, fever, body aches, etc., … along with loss of taste and smell ? Can you imagine alternative explanations ?

Is the moon full? You could be turning into a werewolf!!!!

The body has only so many ways to react to an infection. Fever, body aches, runny nose, coughs, and sneezes are generally the most common. Heck, I suffer from seasonal allergies. Runny nose, coughs, and sneezes are coming, as late Sept through Oct is the 2nd allergy season for me, with late Feb through Mar being the other.

Allergies are a body's immune response to a substance. In my case, pollen is often the trigger. But I'm not infected, as the pollen doesn't invade my body and begin to replicate. Bacteria and viruses that replicate and trigger an immune response would be an infection.

Still wondering what new symptoms a novel virus should create? Maybe growing a tail?

I know the answer. With a "novel' virus, you can crack yourself open by the spine, your inerts are turned to paper, and your blood becomes words that tell a story! Unless the blood turns green. Then it's a "Vulcan" virus, not novel.

In essence, the body is expelling irritants.

Cite a symptom, any symptom ascribed to viruses, that cannot be attributed to the body expelling irritants, cellular waste, toxins. To the latter, do you know we exhale far more toxins that we ingest through food ?

The fact COVID was "novel" probably explains why it didn't affect kids the same. Kids are shorter. They need to worry about a novella virus!

In all seriousness, the body has only so many ways to respond. Which is why immune responses are similar to different stimuli. Again, how else is the body supposed to respond to something that triggers an immune response?

But just because the response is similar, doesn't mean it's all the same stimuli. Allergies cause a rise in histamines, which is why an antihistamine helps against allergies. But against a bacterial infection, an antihistamine might relieve symptoms slightly, but not help the underlying infection. For that, you need an antibiotic. And neither a antihistamine nor antibiotic would help against a virus.

The body responds as a unit to anything that needs to be expelled. With stimuli ranging from allergens to toxins to cellular waste … why does a ‘virus’ need to be adduced to explain expulsive symptoms ?
