Depends on how you evaluate that statement. For many, perhaps even most, Covid isn’t much different than the common cold. But while the mortality risk of Covid seems to be decreasing, it is still higher than the flu and certainly a cold

Study details better outcomes for Omicron BA.2 patients.

Mortality rates were 0.7 percent for Delta, 0.4 percent for the original Omicron variant, and 0.3 percent for Omicron BA.2. After adjustments, the odds of death were more than two times higher for the Delta and the original Omicron variant compared with Omicron BA.2. Patients with Delta and the original Omicron variants were also likelier to need hospitalizations, invasive ventilation, and intensive care admissions.

A mortality rate of 0.4% or 0.3% of diagnosed cases is low but not trivial.

Fact check: You are not more likely to die from the common cold than COVID-19

The flu rates in at about 0.1%.

Your link referred to a study of 72 patients in Bangledesh that were hospitalized in 2020.

There were broader studies since completed, which shows Invermectin wasn’t effective as an anti-viral for COVID.

For example, this study done based on data from a clinical trial that occurred mid-2021 through 2022 involving 1591 patients as subjects.

Effect of Ivermectin vs Placebo on Time to Sustained Recovery in Outpatients With Mild to Moderate COVID-19

Why didn’t you use the more recent, more complete, more definitive published study?

The face of US healthcare, Anthony Fauci delivered projections on IFR that varied TENFOLD within 24 hours.

Then he said the public had no business wearing masks. Then told us to wear a mask and even to wear two masks.

Believe it or not there is a bunch of garbage living in your intestines right now. Talk to your doctor about that medication and what it works on.

Sure, but they’re never going to report people piling into hospitals, with intestinal disorders, when it can be attributed to scary virus.

I’ve tried to tell you people that virologists are people who presuppose viruses and see them into existence. From Alfred Grafe’s History of Experimental Virology …

LOL. Still trying to scare people that Covid is a danger to young people? It's not. Flu much more dangerous. And why anyone would listen to anything you have to say on Covid considering you somehow still believe covid came from a wet market. That and believing masks, lockdowns and school closures were a good thing should just tell everyone you have zero credibility when it comes to anything covid. Now back to your delusional thinking...

So much irony. But you are right. So many have lost the ability to critically think and ask questions.

We are getting there though. Slowly…

It is called science. If anyone ever finds proof that the virus was created in the lab, then so be it. It will be revelation of a major leap forward in virus engineering. Or, maybe someone will find proof that it was naturally occurring and leaked from a lab. So far, ZERO. On the other hand, mountains of data that create irrefutable problems for the leak-dip-sticks who ignore the actual science. I know that it is well beyond you and your clique. I am no longer worried about the uneducated being able to follow along at home at this point, nor care little for the constant injections of non-sense, mistruths and ignorant politics into this thread. The rest of us can discuss right past you.

Sure. Your "science" had no scientific basis to use masks yet you still think they work. Next level dumb. Go read the Cochrane Review on Masks and get back to me. What I love the most is how you know you were wrong on Lockdowns, school closures and masks and yet you still will try to act like you were right. It's awesome to see. Most people here would have more respect for you if you just admitted you were wrong and move on. But i'll keep pointing out how wrong you were until you admit it.

Title 42 was a law that closed the border during the Pandemic. The law was keep the migrants in Mexico, and judges kept the law active for months into the Biden admin, even though Biden wanted to end it. Biden did allow for children and families into the US to bypass Title 42, but the majority of immigrants had to wait on the Mexican side for months.

Did Title 42 stop people from entering illegally? No. But what has? Nothing. To that point, what country has been effective in stopping illegal immigration into their country throughout history? None that I know of.

You often can still test positive for weeks and not be contagious. Depending on the test it can pick up viral remnants
