And that was not how it was being used. Did a few do it? Probably. The sick thing is that Covid causes inflammation. Ivermectin can be used for anti-inflammatory purposes. Instead of just letting doctors try it and see if it works. We had idiots in Public Health and the media that don’t have a clue how to clinically work as a doctor shut them down from prescribing it and threaten them. All while creating the lie/narrative that people were taking horse paste.

The people who continuously used the horse paste terminology were ignorant fools.

The drug unlike the shot has a long safety record. I personally don’t think it worked all that well. I think it worked for some. And that is what matters. That patients with their doctors are able to make decisions. Not coercing people to take drugs. Especially for a disease that is not dangerous to them.

I never considered Ivermectin if I got Covid. When I finally got Covid…Tylenol and ibuprofen worked perfectly. Hit a massive 99.2 fever the first night. Slight headache which I don’t usually get. Then just tired in the afternoons for a week and a half.

The ventilator thing really was a screw up. But trump got them plenty of ventilators lol. Just like Trump got them their shot.

Yep, the one easy Critical Thinking tipping point is simple. Did this vaccine ever really prevent anyone from getting Covid-19? That answer was an obvious NO... NO... NO.

Other than the first 6-12 months when there was little data or the studies on the virus first emerging, when was this not “well documented”?

The initial observation was that COVID was highly devastating to the elderly. Almost a 10% death sentence was feared for that group. Initially, it kinda was as it tore through old folks homes in some areas. There were essentially two major waves. Initially, where it impacted primarily the elderly. That caused a lot of those sorts of facilities to go into lockdown and seniors to be extra cautious about trying to avoid it. At a point, around when the Delta wave hit and vaccinations targeted the elderly age groups first, the patient loads at hospitals actually started leaning younger, younger obese people. This is when they started referring to it as a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” as most of these younger people were not vaccinated.

In the very early going, Fauci threw out death rates that varied TEN-Fold. He was simply one of the most notable ‘smart’ people who literally went mad (and drove people mad) and ensured the catastrophic approach that was taken.

Actually, it certainly did. The protection from “catching” covid is short lived, but there was a window where it was working against the original variant and delta variant. Initially the neutralizing ability of the vaccine was… maybe 6 months? The real world data bears this out. Ask any nurse, after the vaccines rolled out the vast majority of their patients during ‘21 were obese + unvaccinated younger people. It was like a switch flipped on their patient profile. Hell that was true around here and this is a big time retirement/snowbird area, yet the “typical” covid patient during that delta wave was no longer the retiree, it was the 300pound 30-40 year old.

The problem is against the omicron variant, the neutralizing antibodies are present for as little as 2 months (see link). So the vaccines do little to totally prevent current variants. However even with that in mind your statement would still be technically false.

Rapid decline in vaccine-boosted neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant

Variant - variant of what ? Don’t you have to have a referent to have a variant ?

This is the type of BS propaganda that the public health officials touted with their “science”/“models”/“studies”…

Ivermectin is a drug used to treat nematodes "worms" that are parasites that live in water. Ivermectin is remarkably effective at removing nematodes without causing side effects. Ivermectin is also used on domestic pets as heartworm pills, as heartworms are also nematodes. Ranchers use it on grazing animals too, because these animals often drink from standing water, which is more likely to have nematodes than a running river.

In lab settings, Ivermectin proved to be an effective anti-viral drug as well. Problem was, it only worked at incredibly high doses. So high, in fact, that the dosage would kill not only the virus, but the host as well. Still, with Ivermectin being inexpensive, with little side effects, it was worth testing normal dosages on COVID patients.

The results showed Ivermectin to be completely ineffective against COVID. Especially in places with clean drinking water. In countries without a reliable supply of clean, drinking water, Ivermectin helped with COVID patients, but this was due to the fact Ivermectin cleared nematode infections in these patients, and allowed them to better fight off COVID.

The hype around Ivermectin certainly did cause people to go and buy it off the shelf at animal supply stores. There were reported shortages of the drug in several areas.

Early on, doctors were allowed to prescribe the drug off-brand. But when it proved ineffective, there was no reason to prescribe Ivermectin for COVID. Especially here in the US, where nematodes are rarely, if ever found in our drinking water.

On the other hand (and much darker) ventilators we’re not hailed as a cure for anything, but were hastily applied to protect doctors and nurses from spewed unicorn dust as might be the case with oxygen.

Well, I do think we need to think about our trans people. If we kill them by breathing on them, they’ll never be able to fulfill their aspirations of getting uterus implants so they can abort babies.

been pretty ill for a couple days and doctor did a flu test and covid test. covid was the winner! this is actually worse than when i originally caught it (pre vaccines) and ive been vaxed and boosted.
    gonna start me on paxlovid.
little back story: my mom’s husband was in hospice recovering from severe lung disease due to inoperable/incurable cancer until this past Monday. He’s been given 3-6 mos. Wife and I went to help them out Sunday and mom mentioned she had headaches and fever that morning. Turns out mom is positive for covid and her terminal husband is now home from hospice. I hope she hasn’t inadvertently sped up his timeline.

And here we have even the left leaning Nate Silver saying that the MSM is full of crap. Would be nice for the left to admit it so we can move on. But we know that won't ever happen. Fauci for sure lied about this issue.
