The scary thing is many people supported the coercive measures put in place. For goodness sakes...just last week we finally made it okay for The Joker to come play tennis in the states again. The Covid messed up a lot of people.

I don't think it would be as many as you think. But certainly some. A lot less damage would have been done though if Trump won. He would have still supported taking the shot but once the science showed it unnecessary...it would have ended. None of the anti science coercion and policies would have happened. At least most of them would not have. And a lot of kids would have been saved from taking and unnecessary shot due to the fear their parents lived in.

Just like there is no doubt some unvaccinated people died who caught covid from a vaccinated person. And vaccinated to vaccinated. And Unvaccinated to unvaccinated.

The vaccinated were out thinking they had the sniffles spreading delta like it was their job (not on purpose but at high rates). These shots failed to slow the spread. There are consequences for messaging. When you message that you will not get the disease and/or spread it like they did during Delta...people are going to go out thinking they do not have Covid. When in many cases people were covid positive.

Scientists knew that when the vaccine came out, we were in a race between vaccine and variant. This paper was published Sept, 2021, and one of many with similar sentiments. With the wild type, the magic vaccination rate to potentially start seeing herd immunity was 70%. Delta changed the magic number to 90%, but it really didn't matter. The US didn't get to 70% before Delta, and world-wide, we have only now hit over 70%.

Reminds me of the outbreak in July up in Massachusetts when 3/4 of the cases were fully vaccinated. These shots may have provided a small therapeutic benefit. But the risk benefit to a healthy person was never there. Especially a young healthy person. One of the few times the cdc had to be honest. But they quickly had their people out to scream at people like me for questioning what we were doing.

    This is great news!

A new report conducted by the Vaccine Confidence Project published by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) concluded that confidence in childhood vaccines has dropped by 44 percent in 52 countries in recent years. The report surveyed 55 countries and all but three countries—China, India and Mexico—showed a steep decline in vaccine confidence since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Yep.

These idiots in public health need to be held accountable. This was the definition of malpractice. And it was criminal in some instances. Especially for those who knew what they were doing. Some I do think fell for the propaganda.

I'm fine with parents not getting their kids vaccinated for anything so long as my health insurance company doesn't cover their kids when they get a preventable disease

This is one of the dumbest things that could be said at this point. Especially coming from someone who took the Covid shots and got Covid.

Your anger should be at the idiots that duped you with the Covid shot. They have caused unnecessary hesitancy for good drugs.

Dont get your kids vaccinated for Covid - that's fine and I get it.

If you don't get your kids vaccinated against Polio or Measles then you're on your own to pick up the tab of they get it.

Measles are skin eruptions and polio is still with us, albeit renamed. Arguably, the fewer the vaccines the healthier the population.

You should not be on your own. But I would agree with you that the MMR and Polio vaccines are safe and effective.

If you are concerned about insurance…obesity is how you address it.
