I love how the ones literally yelling from the rooftops about us being afraid and falling for the propaganda are also the ones afraid of a shot that’s proven to be exceedingly safe, and who would rather take unproven drugs not indicated for Covid use like Ivermectin and Plaquenil. Then they also fall for nutters like Joseph Ladapo and all these other scammers’ advice, but yep, we’re the ones listening to the propaganda because we actually look at the data presented and listen to the factually proven opinions of nearly the entire science community. Random dental receptionist is right, nearly all doctors and the scientists are wrong. LOL! Can’t make this shit up.

I actually don’t find your attempt to demean me and my job (which is to run our family dental practice) funny. I usually find the name calling/ad hominem cute.. But I do know our front desk employees that you ignorantly demean as implying a less than worthy position are integral to the success of our practice. And they would ignore the fact you are an @$$ and treat you with respect as we would provide you the exact same care we would provide every patient. We do have patients who are @$$es though.

And yes doctors were wrong. Many of them. Were they maliciously wrong? The vast majority were not. But there were a few who were. Unfortunately that minority ended up causing generational damage.

Those responsible for the disastrous policies seem to be struggling to accurately recall their contribution to the madness.

I plead consistency here. We should have been afraid of the effects of panic from lockdowns to vaccines. BTW, not even the CDC nor the FDA believe the vaccines are “extraordinarily safe.”

People only demean your job because you spout off non-stop like a know it all dipshit about how all the doctors and scientists who have devoted their lives to infectious diseases are wrong and you are right when its clear to any person with a brain that you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground. Keep pretending to be an expert and we will continue to point out that you're clearly not.

Yes, I know more than virologists and doctors regarding so-called infectious diseases. All it took was reading their own studies.

Exactly. Don’t act like an arrogant know it all who hides behind a keyboard sending laughing emoji responses to actual posts that provide factual data and are there to educate just because you don’t like what it has to say. It pisses people like me, who have a career in the medical field, the hell off. Quite frankly, dude deserves the hell he gets for how arrogant and obnoxious he acts.

A new study out of Yale looked at the cause of myocarditis caused by vaccination. Here's a link to a USA Today Article if you just want the basics. Here's a link to the actual study. The cause, according to the study, is an over-reaction by the body's own immune system. No allergic reaction, and nothing specific targeting the heart. The study looked at mostly males ages 13 - 21.

One interesting passage from the study is the risk/reward of vaccination as compare to the risk from infection.

On the basis of our findings, longitudinal clinical monitoring of vaccine-associated myopericarditis patients may be warranted to assess potential persistence of cardiac abnormalities. It is also critical to contextualize the rare risk of adverse events and potential clinical sequelae after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination (2, 5) in comparison with the greater risks of sequelae (including myocarditis), hospitalization, and/or death resulting from infection with SARS-CoV-2 (5, 24, 137140). [emphasis added]
I guess this is another study Lapado can ignore when he issues his next round of recommendations!

This is informative and intuitive. What these anti vax jugheads can’t seem to process is that some degree of side affects, often due to the immune system reaction, are kind of inevitable. If it happens with the disease, there is a reasonable chance it will infrequently happen in a muted fashion in reaction to a vaccine.

I wonder with teens and young adult males if spacing out the shots would reduce the already low incidence of the side effect?

To show how irrational people are, we have friends, a couple who are both anti Covid vaccination. Yet the guy now is taking weekly semaglutide shots in order to lose some weight that is causing other health conditions. I’m pretty sure the negative consequences of these weekly shots are far more consequential than the side effects of a couple of vaccine shots.

^ In simpler terms: the cause is the shot.
