I'd say this brazen disloyalty will almost assuredly result in some sort of retribution, maybe even a dismissal from a university job:

Very interesting article by one of the country’s great newspapers. A hyper partisan news source might not have printed the opposite of this.
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/04/24/covid-pandemic-government-response-report/

“Looking back at the U.S. response to the pandemic, many setbacks and mistakes are well-known. But a closer examination by a team of seasoned experts has brought to the surface a profoundly unsettling conclusion. The United States, once the paragon of can-do pragmatism, of successful moon shots and biomedical breakthroughs, fell down on the job in confronting the crisis. The pandemic, the experts say, revealed “a collective national incompetence in government.

“This warning comes through over and over again in “Lessons from the Covid War: An Investigative Report,” a book published Tuesday by a group of 34 specialists led by Philip Zelikow, the executive director of the 9/11 Commission and a history professor at the University of Virginia. Their verdict: “The leaders of the United States could not apply their country’s vast assets effectively enough in practice.”

If some researcher at Phizer had altered a study, you'd be going ballistic

You’re not good with irony, are you ? Me, I’m not high-confidence when it comes to mechanical stuff.

Masks signify fear. All we’re saying is that we’re not keen on participating in the delusion you underwrite.

So it wasn’t wrong for him to alter the study? How do you arrive at that conclusion?

This study is based on VAERS information. Nothing wrong with that, but VAERS is best used as an potential early warning detection service. And since VAERS is 100% open source, and anyone can post to it, the data in VAERS is never to be accepted as accurate. In this linked study, published in 11/2021, they admit further study is needed.

Further research into the severity and long-term sequelae of post-vaccination CAE is warranted. Quantification of the benefits of the second vaccination dose and vaccination in addition to natural immunity in this demographic may be indicated to minimize harm.
That research was done, completed, and published in August, 2022. And using actual people/patients, and not VAERS information, the conclusion was significantly different. Unvaccinated and infected had a 11X higher risk of myocarditis than the vaccinated. Whereas the VAERS study looked at about 275 cases, this linked study looked at 43 million people. Additional studies later confirmed the risk higher from infection versus vaccine, including this one published October, 2022 from Penn State, which lists the risk of myocarditis from infection 7X higher.

Furthermore, the a myocarditis case from infection runs a higher risk of becoming a severe case and turning into MIS-C. Which is why this study was published in August, 2022, stating the protection from MIS-C with vaccination outweighs any risk of myocarditis from the vaccine.

Dr. Lapado had most of this information available when he made his recommendation in October, 2022. But there is now hard evidence that Lapado purposely ignored evidence that would contradict his recommendations, as this evidence was in original drafts of the report, but deleted by Lapado himself. This is why Johns Hopkins is accusing Lapado of choosing politics over science. The scientific evidence strongly shows that the benefits of the vaccine for kids 12 through 17 far outweigh any risks. Every state in the country, and country on the planet has access to the same information. And just about every one promoted the vaccine for all 12 and older.

Now, if you want to rely on a small study, based on less than 300 VAERS cases, go right ahead. Just don't claim you are following the data and making an informed decision if you do so. Especially when there are far larger studies, done with much higher confidence levels that all say the opposite.

    I don't underwrite anything.

    This is you, not me:
It is not possible to terrorize me with a mask, since I am simply not afraid of them. I am also not terrorized by a disease that killed millions, although I certainly wasn't all about trying to catch it either. I also make a point to not intentionally find Ebola or develop heart disease, although I also don't live in terror over them.

And a bunch of nerds at the CDC are not out to "terrorize" me at all, much less with the goofiest of indirect "strategies" like strongly encouraging me to wear a mask in public for about 1% of my life. Although I will say that if anyone ever attempts to terrorize me, I hope this is the way they go.

Fear whatever you want and give all this power away in your mind I guess. Until you're actually menacing me, I guess it's just an inexplicably complex and horrifying way to walk around all day. But sorry, most of us just aren't scared by unscary things.

There is no virus. No new disease. It was the effects of fear and despair that killed millions. Your mask was a metaphor. Masks signaled: “It’s scary and I comply. I don’t question. I don’t research. I agree with the Man on TV.”

This is what they are upset about…

“Results from the stratified analysis for cardiac related death following vaccination suggests mRNA vaccination may be driving the increased risk in males, especially among males aged 18-39,” Ladapo wrote in the draft. “The risk associated with mRNA vaccination should be weighed against the risk associated with COVID-19 infection.”

And it is true. Young healthy males should not be taking these shots based on the data. Watch the video and let me know what you think. It will not mention Ladapo. But it gets to the point. And thankfully we have a public health leader that looks at the data properly without a one size fits all approach. Not using poor analysis to make decisions. With that ability he was able to give proper guidance. The kind of guidance basically every country in the world expect the US gives now.

    ???

There are definitely posters who just shake their head at the ignorant compliance to a policy that did nothing.

Was listening to a podcast yesterday. Three doctors and they were discussing the mask. Two still work at large liberal university hospitals that require the workers to wear masks to this day. The other had the policy removed recently. He said the second they announced it the entire hospital unmasked. They knew how stupid and worthless the policy was. As the doctor said. It was a great feeling to be able to communicate face to face again. One of those things many just brush off.

We also have the Israeli data showing the increase in Myocarditis in teens is higher from the shot than covid itself. The vaccine should've been taken by everyone over 21 unless you were an elite athlete that was under 25. Then there was zero risk. But people don't want to hear the truth. They would rather a grifter tell them garbage and eat it up.

Here you go again. Ignoring the mountains of data that does not support your opinion and resorting to middle-school name calling as your only means of debate. Want more data you can ignore? Here's a meta analysis of 11 studies that looked at over 58 million subject cumulatively. Here are their findings:

Study results indicate that a higher incidence of myocarditis or pericarditis was found after COVID-19 vaccination. In addition, the risk of developing myocarditis or pericarditis was greater after the second dose than after the first dose. Nevertheless, the risks of myocarditis and pericarditis in COVID-19 vaccine recipients are still significantly lower than the health risks observed in patients with COVID-19. Therefore, the benefits and harms must be carefully assessed to determine the best management option for patients who are in the high-risk group of myocarditis or pericarditis.
There is risk from the first shot, higher risk in the second shot, but overall, the risks of infection if unvaccinated are significantly higher than any/all risks from the vaccine. Here's some more data, on hospitalizations that while you will ignore, shows again, just how effective the vaccine was for kids ages 12 - 17.

Among adolescents aged 12–17 years, the only pediatric age group for whom a COVID-19 vaccine was approved throughout the study period, December hospitalization rates among unvaccinated adolescents were approximately six times those among fully vaccinated adolescents, suggesting that vaccines were highly effective in preventing serious COVID-19 illness.

Yes, the risks of COVID for this age group is low. But with the vaccine, the risk becomes ever lower. And the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the risks by a huge amount. That is, if you follow the actual data. But if you ignore the data and believe only what you want, then those of us who follow the data get called names like grifter!

The irony in Q calling everyone a grifter and falling for the “propaganda” is that Ladapo is literally a grifter, working for a well known scam in America’s Frontline Doctors before getting hired by Desantis for political points with the anti-vaccine and science crowd. Moreover, everything Ladapo says is literally propaganda passed down by his fascist boss, lol. Desantis fired the previous surgeon general because he didn’t want facts to be presented and hired this dope instead.

Q is the literal definition of a lost cause. He’s so brainwashed you’ll never change his mind.
