Your daughter got the risk of the shot and Covid. So did many other kids unnecessarily. The good news is less than half of kids were given the shot unnecessarily.

You have certainly fallen for the propaganda…

 

For a vaccine to be considered effective, it must provide at least 50% immunity from disease. That means there are "effective" vaccines where still nearly half can get breakthrough cases. Breakthrough cases are nothing new. They are known and expected. I don't understand your point at all, unless you are arguing vaccines are supposed to provide 100% immunity, which clearly they don't do, and never have!

Where the COVID vaccine has been extremely effective is reducing hospitalization and death rates. Including those in kids ages 5 and up. And why wouldn't we want to reduce the risk of hospitalizations for our kids?

I've fallen for zero propaganda. I have hundreds of pages of studies and opinions of medical professional that have far more expertise and education around medicine that I'll ever have. I'll take their word over anyone on this site any day, for sure.

You are part of the 15% who still can’t see reality. The bivalent booster is at about 15% acceptance. The kids has fallen off the cliff thankfully. So you have and are definitely still falling for the propaganda.

 

You represent the sad state of the death of expertise in this country. eVEryONe can now do their own research on Facebook and Youtube, and you too can be an expert on anything, including medical science. Forget those with PhD's and decades of actual experience in the field! Much better to listen to anyone who is telling you what you want to hear, despite their qualifications. As long as they wearing a lab coat!!!

I'm tired of posting pages and pages of actual, peer reviewed, medical research, only to be told I've fallen for propaganda. Or that a review of VAERS data without verification should be taken seriously. Or that the medical opinions from places like the Boston Children's Hospital and Johns Hopkins should not be taken seriously, because it doesn't agree with what some idiot online believes to be true.

Reality? The vaccine has saved lives, and reduced risks of millions of Americans. Still does. If other idiots don't want to get boostered, that's on them. I'll be signing up in early June, which is about six months after my last COVID positive test.

Fine. As long as every unvaccinated idiot who ends up in the hospital who is eligible for the vaccine has to pay 100% of his/her medical costs. I don't want to subsidize their idiocy. Still thousands in the hospital from COVID, and the vaccine could have prevented a very large number of these.

It’s my understanding at this point that a large majority hospitalized are elderly, and a vast majority of that group is vaccinated. It is probably true that a small percent who didn't get booster could have benefited from it.

Almost everybody by now has either vaccine immunity or natural immunity or both. I think most of the damage due to lack of vaccination has already been done.

They do already. This is nothing new. You probably are not even aware that hospitals are banking through this by having patients coded as Covid. But hey. Covid is a fascists dream!

 

A snapshot in time from last Oct, at the UC Davis Medical Center, 27 COVID patients. 21 unvaccinated, and of the 5 in ICU, all 5 unvaccinated. Davis is a ag town about 30 minutes East of Sacramento, and not a big city. But extrapolate these numbers around the country, and there are thousands in the hospital that could've avoided it if vaccinated. And many in the ICU that don't need to be there.

Make me pay for the vaccine, then make these unvaccinated hospital patients 100% cash pay. No insurance and no government payments.

 

interesting, but from one hospital 6 months ago. I can’t immediately find a good recent by age breakdown, but what I can gather:

- over 93% of 65+ are vaccinated
- for that age group, probability of death is about 3 times as high for unvaccinated as vaccinated with booster.

Extrapolate that and it would suggest 75-80% of 65+ deaths are vaccinated.

 

Don’t fall for the propaganda from the media. The hard data shows this nonsense to be a lie. I have posted it enough at this point. Have Edwin Garcia provide the hard data. I have done it enough at this point. Believe what you wish. The US has been awful at providing the hard data. We have it from other countries. The shot failed. It is reality. But if you want to find a story to confirm what the propaganda has convinced you…that is on you.
