That's funny. My doc's office is mask optional, but they request everyone wear one. I usually do out of respect of the staff, which is all wearing one. They also have asked about my vaccination/infection status. I've been jabbed three times and got COVID this time last year. Also had a very mild case in November/December. Their recommendation, given my status, that if I don't have another case by June, to get the bivalent booster.

I haven’t a vaccine of any kind, for several years now, and I never got Covid.

How can you be sure that you never had asymptomatic Covid especially considering that you have never been tested (my assumption considering your opinion of the test and your opinion that viruses aren't real).
    What is Asymptomatic COVID-19?

Again, asymptomatic transmission was a false premise based on positives from a diagnostic test that could only deliver falses.

Recall that the people who believed in viruses, but opposed lockdowns, pointed to studies that showed that asymptomatic transmission was statistically zero. That’s because there is no such thing.

Even after we have all this evidence masks work, we still have major news organizations just ignoring science. Can't fix stupid.

Which parts of the article did you find objectionable? Was it this part?

Here is the bottom line: Loose-fitting face masks and surgical masks have a purpose, but when it comes to covid transmission, they are like wearing goggles with holes.

They discuss the findings of the Cochrane study, along with criticisms of the study, and results of a CDC study. Don't we ultimately want people to get all the relevant information so that they can make their own informed decision?

Obviously, we don’t want people to get all the relevant information. If we did we’d be asking our fellows to take a long hard look at the notion of people as deadly disease vectors. I’m trying. But I can’t do it all by myself.

LOL. The whole thing was a joke. The Cochrane study showed how many RCT mask studies there have been and none have concluded masks are worth using. The CDC "study" was a joke. Sure, post whatever you want but some studies are just propaganda masking as a "study". Since we know masks don't work for covid transmission, they have zero purpose.

You're right. If you only believe in studies that show masks are ineffective, and dismiss any study to the contrary as a "joke," then masks are 100% ineffective. Feel free to flame away in response. Not interested in another debate with someone who only reads headlines and immediately dismisses anything that doesn't agree with their priors.

Masks worked like anti-killer unicorn talismans.

LOL. You show me a RCT that masks work and we will talk. You want to discuss some "study" that masks work on dummies in a laboratory, then do that with the rest of the forever maskers. So if you can't show an RCT that masks work, then yes, whatever else you post is most likely a joke.

The difference is I wouldn't base my entire view on a single study, but if the conclusions are conflicting, there was very little downside in recommending masks in the early days. Now that everyone has NI or is vaccinated I don't think a mask makes as much sense anymore.

LOL. That does not conclude masks reduce covid spread. Let's actually look at that data. 300k individuals and the difference was 20 cases, but unfortunately they also stressed distancing from others as well as masking, so that could be the difference in such a small number being different. Oh, and Observational bias could be an issue as well with that particular study. Swing and a miss! Good try though. Had these discussions over a year ago when this came out. Here is a good breakdown of why the Bangladesh study wasn't what the news told you it was and why Cochrane says masks don't work.

LOL. Yeah, I guess if I was praying at the alter of masks for 3 years and then found out it was complete garbage I would be upset like you are also.

Cochrane study wasn't a single study. Might was to go check it out. But hey, you keep thinking masking worked. I'll deal in reality.
